Is it the same as being in love with someone? And why would a guy post that on his social media about his girlfriend (i.e. “Feeling in love with Jane”) only to erase it five minutes later?

Thanks and Happy Mommy's Day!

Feeling in love: is the most insecure statment due to it referring to a temporary and subjective state of things.

Being in love: less subjective in it's statment but still temporary as it is a limited state of things.

I love you: universal, unconditional statement.

Thank you, Pleis!

This makes quite the bit of sense!
