What was adam and eve before? They say that they were now exposed into the hash world after they ate the apple..and that gave them knowledge. and that gave them values. and that gave them labor. gave them emotion. and thus became man. So what were they before?

Yes! You are on to something Luz! Keep figuring it out. They were created with 'free will' so to love God but did not listen. They were curious and that is only human nature. Not always easy to be obdient! but if you are stupid and God is God I think I would have been paying attention.

The difference is that when Adam and Eve were in the garden, they were badly inexperienced and not too aware about what was outside the garden. They might have paid attention a little better to God if they had realized fully what the consequences were. Or maybe not. Just an idea.

i know huh? So if they knew the consequences would they have obeyed god and lied to him that they understood and appreciated what god had offered and "never" would take that for granted again but since they didnt know the consequences, they went back on his word. So what does this tell you?

you know it kinda makes me sad and a little bit of intimidated to think about this. Gods kids turning back on him. God cries. God has to punish them. Kids might end up in hell or heaven. Kids confused. Kids must strive. God watches with tears. Etc etc....

Yeah, I'm curious about this. Did Adam and Eve readily admit that they ate the fruit? I mean, God would have known anyway, but still. And was it just that Adam and Eve were to innocent of the consequences to realize just how good they had it? Innocence seems to breed curiosity, after all. So was Adam and Eve's major fault that they were just too innocent?

I think gaining knowledge takes away your innocence because gaining comes with life experiences not just academic wise, and life isnt innocent at all, so in a way i guess they were innocent, but they had some knowledge that their father, who had created them, didnt want them to eat the apple, and they knew this but they still went back on his word. So i guess god really cant tell the future, can he.

but they were already living a life..in some garden. Could this garden be as perfect at it is? If this garden was so perfect then why was there the apple? Why was satan in it as the snake? Maybe the garden isnt as so perfect after all...

Y'all need to just leave it alone!!!

You're talkin some really crazy stuff!!

Why does God have to prove himself to us—. If that is the case, then he is NOT God. God does not have to prove to us anything. We believe in him through faith and you need to understand the meaning of it. You are trying to make him something tangible, and that just is not how it is.

Hey Luz, I copied a really funny site depicting "all the holes" in the Adam and Eve story. It's pretty funny. I don't know WHERE on this web site it ended up at but if you click on "Saggie" you'll see listed with your topic and it seems the only way one is able to read it?
