BUT since the last 2 weeks, things have been odd.. there's been (only 1 or 2) days when he hasn't been online at all (but I know that's because of crazy working hours so he was sleeping it off as I don't think he's been on dates all day long from morning till night lol)...no big issue.. but there's been a few days when he hasn't initiated any messages to me but when I initiate, he responds almost straight away and with the same enthusiasm as before.. I asked him why he had not said anything for 5 days to me and if he was angry at me.. he said no he wasn't and that I hadn't done anything wrong...I told him that 1 or 2 days of silence is not an issue as we all need our space occasionally but 5 days is odd.. he reassured me that he wasn't ignoring me on purpose and he had just been busy at a best friend's wedding abroad (which is true for sure as he's put wedding pics on fb).. I said what about the 2 days before.. he said his new job role doesn't give him much free time.. (although he's always been busy but still found time in the past to talk to me)..
The next day, he did initiate and seemed like he normally is, caring, responsive and lighthearted fun.. he got back to his home (1 hour flight) from the wedding weekend, yesterday night and all day today from about 9am to now (10.30pm) he has been online every 20 mins or so (across over 12 hours!) and no word from him at all.. I want to think he's just chatting to a mate or a new friend he made at the wedding but somehow I think it must be a girl... surely no guy chats to another guy for 12 hours straight..?
I remember the extreme enthusiasm of his texting frequency when we first met and they do say people who fall in love easily, fall out of it just as quickly.. We haven't had any huge rows and it's a fairly new relationship so I'd hate to think he was cheating already but I suppose a man with so much gemini/sagittarius in his chart, anything is possible..
I don't know how to approach the subject again without appearing needy/insecure/desperate for keeping track of his online times or like a total nag as he has implied he isn't cheating (but of course, most cheaters would say that...) but I can't not know either 😢...
We are kinda long distance-ish (about 2-3 hours away from each other by public transport or car) but that's been the case since the start.
