Been seeing a sag man (early 30s) for a few months now - I am mid-20s.. we have our ups and downs but anyway, my birthday and his birthday were sorta close by so we exchanged gifts on the same day.. I usually spend as much as the other person will spend on pressies so it's fair but couldn't use that technique this time as we were giving each other the presents on the same day..
Anyway, I found out he had bought me a perfume for slightly over £60.. whilst I had bought him stuff that totals to about £9... I even made a big thing of telling him this as I didn't know the perfume would have been expensive until I googled it so thought £9 was a good amount to spend on him...
Now I feel really awkward and uncomfortable that he might have been secretly disappointed or annoyed to spend so much on me when I spent about £50 less than him on his pressies...
I know the traditional view is that men generally pay for more stuff for the girl than the other way (but I know modern approaches of equality might void this reasoning).. Also, he is the one and only person I have ever slept with and he knows this since I was a virgin when we met..
What would a sagittarius male think??
