For example:

We know that the Phoenix represents life death and rebirth.

How many Scorpios out there have some sort of so-called "talisman" in their life
that reflect the concept? Not something that you consciously acquired or once owned,
but something that is/was quietly attached to you.

Can a father's occupation just prior to your conception play some role in some aspect of your
life?

Hmmm.....maybe....maybe. Here's a thought and theory; if the moods and emotions of the mother can effect the baby while in the womb, then it's possible the father's can, too. That might lead to that connection you're referring to.

It's a bizarre thing.

I joined dxp about three years ago. I knew nothing much about astrology, nor numerology at the time
but since that time, my research had revealed quite a bit, then in reviewing my life, I had noted
some very peculiar "things".

For example, my forum name value is identical to my real life birth name.
That was not planned and discovered after I joined.
The car which my parents owned was a Gold and Black 1967 Pontiac Firebird.
The Firebird is synonymous with the Phoenix.

Also, "ENIGMA MACHINE" and the name of the town in which I was born, carries the same value as well.
A detail from the time I was conceived, born and the time my parents divorced is associated with Naval Intelligence.
My existence was announced to the world at Bethesda Naval Hospital in MD. (the place where JFK's brain was... lost)
My name is of Biblical proportions. In fact the name of the town in which I was born is derived from
from the "fiery" prophet, Elijah of the old testament in the Judeo/Christian Bible.
Apollo 12 mission was underway. When it launched, the rocket was struck TWICE by lightning.

I am not making this up.

I am just wondering if other Scorpios, here, have noticed similar things in their own life.

isn't that called schizophrenia? 😛

No XO, it isn't schizophrenia. Delusions, hearing voices that aren't there, paranoia, etc. Far from it.

There is factual evidence involved. Factual observations. Peculiar "under-the-radar" patterns.
IF you knew me, in person, I could point these details out and you could clearly see them for yourself.
It isn't schizophrenia when you really do see things before they really do happen.

The sixth sense? The 3rd eye? Extrasensory Perception (ESP)? Remote Viewing?

Anyone who possesses real traits, that inspire concepts such as these (and remain objective and uncorrupt), possess something the US Military, US Government, or any military/government for that matter, identified as the military/industrial complex, could only dream of harnessing.

Yet, they surely do develop military hardware and search for new ways to master the art of deception, indulging
their appetite for material and conceptual possessions thus instigating death upon the whole world in "new and unique ways" with their diverse and advanced "tools".
Their corrupt hearts are in the wrong place and their "toys of comfort" bring upon themselves, heaps of sorrows.
In fear, they exist from generation to generation.

But that's not what I want to discuss.
I am simply curious if other Scorpio individuals have noticed multiples of "coincidentals" as I had described
earlier and whether there is a coherent connection between these coincidental examples.

It feels like you're "onto something" and are picking away at it. I do this a lot.

Something like that. BUT... I've been onto my particular list of coincidences, for some time but I don't dwell on it for long, though. It DOES return to my attention invariably at times.

I don't even practice astrology/numerology and related activities. Never did. However, these things popped
up in my research.

I certainly don't think I am anyone "special", but at the same time, it appears to be unusual.

For example: the odds of my specific combination being duplicated like this are next to impossible.
I actually had to consult my mother about it this asking her if she and dad were into witchcraft, Kabbalah or some variation of black arts. She laughed and thought I was joking and said "no". I told her I was not kidding and briefed her on my findings. She was impressed.

I've had many coincidences but not comparable and in fact a complete different isle, if we were talking about the grocery store. Why the grocery store analogy? I have no idea. Lol

Keep in mind, it may look as though this is ALMOST like asking "Do you have any proof that you are a REAL Scorpio?"
"What—!!— What kind of question is that—" Some may demand.

But I am not asking for anyone to prove to me what they are.

In the past, I have asked if sexual unions can change people - as if, the mixing of bodily fluids merely mirrors
the mixing of souls. When a person has multiple partners, they could be jeopardizing their original identity in
trade of a new mixed identity wherein confusion is found. I see a parallel example in the form of a complete society of multiple cultures,
races, religions etc. into one big blob of confused goo.
It is hard to dispute that immigrants slowly lose their former identity in the new country in which they live with
the passage of time. With each generation, the original identity progresses into the darkness of obscurity and
assumptions and imaginations take root. Some peoples hold onto their heritage far better than others and effectively
pass it down to their descendants.

IF that is true of astrology etc, then it stands to reason that while we may have specific X details in our natal chart, the mixture of the parent's
natal charts and the combination of their forebearers, would be a reasonable component to consider, as well.
IF that is true. 99.9999999% of astro readings are basically bunk and everything you, I and everyone else have ever read or been told, needs
to be thrown out the window or flushed down the toilet, seeing it for what it really is.

I feel there are no coincidences and so when things like that happen I want to know what it means. My curiosity drives it more than anything else. I cannot say how many times I have asked that question and proceeded to put the blinders on in an effort to find the answer. That, I realized, was the worst thing I could do. I had to look at it sideways while not looking at it at all.
They are fun puzzles tho...

Actually I am allway's noticing the intricacies of my life and how they form strange patterns. Last night I was having a quiet moment laying on the couching just staring into space, feeling pretty down.
In that moment I found myself looking into a light bulb at a perfect Fibonacci spiral.

And how do you connect the Fibonacci spiral into your astro sign?

Except that my chart is specifically my chart. My parents DNA had no bearing on when I was born which is what astrology is based on.

I know what LIB would say - "everything happens for a reason"
On the surface, one may touch a hot stove and get burned - an seemingly insensitive bystander may quip "pay attention to what you're doing and you won't get burned" instead of "are you ok?".

I seriously doubt many people stop and consider what the reason behind "everything" is.

I understand. Personally, I am waiting for the light to come on everyone's mind concerning the sun being labled
a "planet". People.... It's a STAR! (smh)

IF they can waffle about Pluto then they ought to cease the hypocrisy and identify the sun for what it really is.
A star.

I had recently read an opinion set forth that actually stated if a person's aspect was in a certain place, their
children would be born at a certain time. I forget where I read that, though.
IF this is true, then, there is such a thing as "Astrological DNA" and "Astro-Genetics" would be the science of
study and manipulation of a person's Astrological DNA. Astrogeneticists would be consulted for the sole purpose
of dictating the time of a child's birth. When to conceive and when and where the birth should take place and
the precise name for the child.
IMHO, that's a bit over the top by Nuttyville's standards. However..... I would not doubt for a moment that
there ARE occultic sects that DO just that.

It was a symbol that happen'd appear at the right time and reminded me that things will grow as they should, And life will continue to repeat the same pattern of good times and bad times.

Yes I would imagine that's exactly what she would say.
I consider what the reason is behind everything because I believe that having that enlightenment helps me to learn and grow.

No doubt, there is a lesson in every thing, in life. However, not every thing is learned, nor is it meant to be learned.

For example, the tallest tree in the Redwoods is enlightened by the sun. But it took many centuries for it
to reach it's great height. But time will come when it shall fall dead and it be fodder for decay, lumber or firewood and the illumination bestowed upon it shall darken and it will become no more. What is there to gain when this is the end?

I didn't see you last comment before I posted mine but it is true that there will be times when we do not get to have or see the answer. I have experienced this myself and it has taught me to learn to let go.

I understand and agree, yet, there is an end-game to this life. Whether we be in the dark in the depths or in
the light in the heights, this life comes to a close, no matter what enlightenment we obtain between times.

There comes an end.

Ok, what birth symbol have you observed that unarguably declares your sun sign?

I was conceived at my grandmothers funeral (sex and death) My twin brother miscarried. (death and rebirth).

Ok, so you're sayin' your parents were kinky in the grave yard.

Perhaps it is something you need to think upon a bit more. Then the things I am talkin' about, may jump out at you.

Sort of interesting this morning... MoonMan had given me some links to some reading material on Chakras. I was reading this morning and find out that Pine Cone symbolizes the Third Eye Chakra.

In 2010, long before I knew of the Third Eye I had a Tattoo done on my right shoulder. It was a last minute change from a Lilly to specifically a Pine Tree Branch with Pine Cones.... It was instinctual and very unusual but the artist drew it up and nailed it, first try. I never really understood why it had to be that other than I have always been drawn to Pine Trees. Interesting... and what does it mean, I wonder? Lol

I also have my Kid's Names, and a saying that I try to always remember to live by, intertwined on and around the branch and pine cones.

Speaking of third eye and tattoos - my x has a third eye in the pyramid tat.
But she's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Yes.

My father was a Manager of State Inspectors for the state. He held that same occupation before I was born and long after I was born. He wasn't around a lot when I was a kid. And if he was, it was like he was not there anyway. That is the best way to put it.

Now, do you mind if I play Inspector Gadget in this forum?

IF you said that it is hard to explain, I can surely understand that frustration.
It's not an easy concept to translate into words without coming across as a bit odd and yet incoherent.

Some people that I have seen on these forums look to astrology to find out who they are and are not
compatible with. Typically it descends into the topic of sex (Sex sells, as the saying goes) and never
much about anything else. Some others, though not many that I have seen, may be looking for fortune
or fame and other such superficial vanity. I personally do not consult astrology for any of these
things or any other such thing. Instead, I research and I observe.
