Munchkin, mine isn't shy, but she isn't a cuddle bug, either. She's totally a gemini. A bit spazzy, a bit social, a bit stand offish, curious and into everything....all on her own terms. I've had black cats that love to cuddle, some that were super shy, some that were completely independent. I think personality for any animal is similar to how ours come about. My horses are both Taurus....omg, STUBBORN as FUCK, bossy, domineering, love to be cuddled on, very jealous of sharing me, love to eat, especially my gelding compared to the mare.

Mine is super social too and gets into EVERYTHING! He's a very curious boy. Is affectionate, but only on his terms. Definitely not a lap cat, but when he feels like being lovey dovey he's all up in your face. Extra hyper too..,I'm talking bouncing off the walls hyper. Funny to watch! The last black cat I had was an Aries and was more mellow and shy...he had a foot fetish. lol

What sign is he? He sounds like my gal and she's a Gem. Ditto my border collie.
