Adopted this little silver/black/tan furball the other day, wanted to call her Mao, but so many get offended because of association with that idiot dictator guy... what a way to ruin a great name...

I'd probably avoid using Japanese names.
Westerners using Eastern names for their pets seems kinda distasteful and embarrassing imo.

Japanese names are pretty maybe use one for your child.

if your determined at least don't spell it traditionally.

LOL I knew this girl that used like a Chinese name for her dog.
I forget what that dog was called but it would only answer to its full name.

Some of those names are Hebrew or Native American lol. It's not all Chinese/Japanese, though Chinese would fit her wickedly well. Her slightly spotted coat reminds me of that nationality for some reason.

She reminds me of a beautiful dusk but I think I would hate that name. The dog's name is Naomi.

Anyway, this is the list I'm pulling from. Anything interesting at all, or shall I continue practicing all of them aloud? 🙂 She is quickly becoming a lap cat, too! The last one was not. His name was Trip Hazard. He would come immediately to "Here, Trip!"
