Helping a Scorp when they are set on sting

One of my dear scorps is going through a bad, bad time. She is in the middle of a very stressful time and of course, two people said the wrong thing to her and she has set her stinger on self-destruct. She is REALLY angry at said and she is going to destroy what should be one of the happiest times in her life, over other people's stupidity. I really think she should just ignore it and focus on all the positive in her life but she is raging and can't let go.

Is there anything you can do when a scorp is enraged? Anyway to calm them down? I thought I had her calmed down the past two days but she is freaked agained.

yeah, trying to get a scorp away from what they really want is impossible. don't worry too much, tho - it's what scorps are born for, creating and destroying, and she'll be a better person when she comes out.

WELL, you CAN calm the vicious stinger of the scorpion, I did. Try to bring reason to the table, making sure they think about what they are doing. My scorp still got revenge on his friend, BUT on a VERY much lower scale of sting. 🙂

well, taurus, you're right - but with scorps, you can't do anything short of change their mind entirely, which is very hard to do. scorps are very self-motivated and determined, you just have to convince them that what they desire is not what's best for them.

When I am raging, there's almost nothing that can be said to me to get me not to sting, but if someone presents enough logical, intelligent possible consequences to me, (but without taking the side of whoever I'm pissed at) I would be slightly inclined to moderate myself...but only slightly.

Just tell her how someone else will perceive her behaviour as irrational and low. That should stop her in her tracks. Logic and reasoning..in abundance..avoid using the term stupid..she might just unleash it on you..

I can related to this but my only difference is I never let anyone know I am about to do some damage because I don't want to be stop, talked too or conveinced that what I'm about to do is wrong.

When I get like that it's war time, and everyone gets hurt who's involved. And you know before I sting someone I do think about the consequences of my actions, and my only conclusion is fuck em, they should not have fuck with me. LOL

I am more afraid she is going to destroy herself and do something she regrets for the rest of her life.

She will sting herself to death and in time rise from her own ashes. It could take any length of time depending on the person. But when she does she will go all out for revenge.

She could be planning her attack, and not saying anything to you. I don't think she will regret her actions, she knows what she is doing.

we do plan our attacks and no one knows when it will happen. If she is quite and staying to herself, she is either planning her attack or trying to come to grips with the whole incident but I think she is planning a big bang.

I am in the midst of the very same thing right now. I am a scorpio. And someone has crossed my feelings. I feel like I hate them. I feel like I wish they could just dissapear from this earth. I feel like I have to hurt them more than they hurt me.

However, I also know that leads to destruction. Bridges are burned and that includes me standing on that bridge. But do I care? Yes. I do care. Will it stop me? It usually hasnt in the past except on very few occasions. We are fireworks type of people, if its gonna go down, then by god, its gonna go down in flames and fireworks. Let it be done then. Then we really know its done and we can move on.

But, so many people can get hurt in the process. Namely us, or me, or the scorpio. Funny things is, in some small way, we dont mind. Your right, there is a beginning, and an ending. And if its gonna end, even if we are hurt, we know its an end. Its not grey, we arent wondering about anything anymore, we know what is what and where is where. We can then begin anew instead of hanging on to something or someone who is causing us distress and pain.

So try and stop your friend if you want. I have friends who know me really well and try and stop me. And it does stop me, for ahwile. But thats the thing, if it doesnt come out in fireworks, it will come out very sneakily, we will wait. And sometimes, not doing anything, is the best revenge. Let those fools think they are getting over on us. Us Scorpios know.....we just know.

I might be adding my two cents a little late here, but oh well. The best way to reason w/your friend is to point out the logic in the situation. If the consiquences out weigh the reasoning for it, she'll come around. The trick is, is knowing how to connect with her logical side in this situation. Ask her to give you the benefit of the doubt, and try to see it from your standpoint. Then state your case... If it makes sense to her, she'll withdraw the sting periodically. And I only say periodically because her mind will take her places that are typically not so good in situations like this. Keep in mind, we don't sting unless left with no choice, someone has to back us into a corner pretty damn well for us to be ready to take em out. At least that's the way I work anyway. I typically like to avoid conflict, but if I'm left without a choice in the matter, then it'll be them going down, not me. And I'm quite strategic when it comes to that sort of thing, I will win... And then I'll feel bad for having to do that, because 'they' were so foolish.
However, if you state your case, and she is able to see things from your perspective, then you may be able to slow the conflict, unless the said perpatraters screw up again.. Then, yeah, no holds barred. At that point she will look at it from the standpoint of, I was kind, and now look, not again.... Thereby teaching them a lesson...

If it is a family memeber, I don't think she will do to much, my 2 sisiters crossed me before and the most I done was not speak to them for almost a year, one was at my mom house one day and I came over and she kept, being smart and talking shit and Jumped in her face I told her she was lucky I did not want to disrepect my mother house because I was going to F her up and she got scared and shut up and I left. I was 2 seconds from punching her.

I have been in a lot issues of lies and deceit with my sister and because they are my family is reason not to sting them to bad and it took me and my sisters a while to get to where we are today. We know have the utmost repect for each other.

One is a Sag and the other is a Taurus, been in a fight twice with the Taurus, and cursed out my Sag sister some kinda bad.

I'm sorry I didn't realize how that might sound, what I meant is, if you get her to see from your perspective of the situation. As in an outside perspective, at that point she might come around. My bad, I think a little internally and seem to just assume folks understand what I'm trying to say, eventhough what I say differs than what I mean. It's a silly little quirk of mine. Has anyone thought of playing of the Scorpio's fascination with the mystical? You could get a hold of a psychic or astrologer and bribe them. Then you send your scorpio friend to this mystic who will tell them that they are just about to enter into some sort of fantastic good fortune that will make them blissfully happy forever after - adding that this will never happen if they don't immediately ditch all thoughts of revenge, on themselves and others. If they don't, the psychic will suggest, they will end up penniless and alone. That might just about do it.

my opinion is let her rebuild self-esteam, i not mean she not have🙂 just scorpio tend to through collecting signals from outside as a reflection of their own value.

i think maybe let ur friend realize that sometimes even ur closest friends could put on persona b/c of certain emotional issue, but u being urself still, and ur well being's never gonna changed or impacted by them.
