Scorp men are probably different from the men but my motto has always been if you don't want me let me go, I am sure I will be hurt but I will get over it. I feel like if a men doesn't want to be with me I will not force myself on him if they break up with me or tell me it's not working and we are moving in different directions I will accept it and move on because I know it is their loss.

I do feel what you are saying OP, women we only want to devote some much time to a relationship espically when you hit a certain age you don't have more years to waste. So if after 5 years he is not ready to move along then it's time to say bye bye and hopefully he will understand if you break it down like that for him and and most importantly you have to stop the contact so he won't have a feeling of hope that you will get back together.

Okay, I've broken up with two scorpio men. The first one (2yr) it was very passionate, but there was a reason it wasn't working and I basically blew up in his face and never spoke to him again. He still keeps in contact but it was a loooooong time before I'd talk to him after that. The other one (5yr) was like you, floating along, just being in a relationship to be in one. I told him I was done, he needed to leave.. and just like that, he packed his stuff up and left 6 hours later. Didn't hear from him for a year, when he did eventually contact me, and it was completely casual.
