It was always platonic, until recently it has been fairly obvious that for a casual customer/employee relationship, we have surpassed that. I can't explain it, but I FEEL like there is something there. Also she is 50... so I don't know she seems very FREE if you ask me.

We read into shit sure, but we tend to the other extreme (they're not into me/ they're friendly/ i am imagining things). Posted by ScorpioTruthThis is a problem not only for Scorpio suns. It's annoying - you can't make friends without people thinking you have a hidden agenda.
It doesn't sound like flirting to me. It sounds like she's friendly. This is why people aren't friendly anymore.. If you make too much eye contact or small talk, now people think you want them.
Sometimes we want to believe something is true and it causes us to see things that will reinforce that belief. So many things could be subtle flirtations or nothing at all that there's no point in assuming anything based on those things alone. And just because you feel something strong doesn't mean the other person does. Could be some people pick up on your interest and kind of bask in the positive attention instead of outright rejecting you.
