How to tame Scorpios temper?

So I couldn't make it to hang out with this Scorpio guy as I had something come up last min and was rather important, as soon as i told him i wasn't coming he blew up in an angry temper? Told me we should no longer be friends and he should cut me off. Not the first time he's done this when things don't go his way threatens to cut me off? But what I'm curious is he gets very very upset but it comes out in a very angry temper, how do i tame it or make him better?

Make no friends with an angry man. Prov. 22:24. If you are looking for love, it's not with him. He's projecting too much of what is wrong in his life onto you and you seem to want to absorb it. DON'T. He's too immature. Let him get himself together or else, in his eyes, it will ALWAYS be YOUR fault for everything wrong in His life.

The first time would've been the last time. You should've either checked his ass the first time or cut him off. I don't care how big of a problem there is, I can understand being angry but you will not have a 2 year old temper tantrum on me.
