I(scorp 35f) just found out that my ex boyfriend (Leo 35m) is dating an aqua25f version of me. I am not projecting but she really is exactly who I was when I was 25. Down to the quirks, interests and way of talking. I've even heard it from a few mutuals we have (small town things)

We started dating when we were 25 and then parted ways after a few years because...caste...life...mismatched expectations. I told myself it was because I wasn't good enough for him. He was more successful than I was at that point.

Clearly he's the bf I didn't properly get over so I go to his profile sometimes to just 'catch up' and saw this.

I don't know what to feel anymore.

It certainly helps in the getting over part because what 35 yr old dates a 25 yr old— But I am also weirdly flattered?!

Hopefully I'll find proper love at some point but being replaced by a younger version of yourself just feels weird.

Men always go for the same "type" of women. It's as old as time.

They start to go for younger "versions" once they realize time is cayching up to them and they're getting old.

Your right about type.

As a man matures likely to change the types as people learn more about what they want. I personally, have a type and will always be attracted to my type regardless of age. BUT big BUT here I would take 1 my maturity of my type over multiple way younger version
