Yes I liked them too, I never knew Adam was suffering from cancer. Weren't they still making music?
they did release an album last year called "hot sauce committee - part 2" it was delayed for almost 3 years when they found out about his cancer.

While I realize that Adam Yauch was a Leo, I am sorry that he is gone. The other two remaining Beastie Boys are Scorpios, and I hope that they live happy lives.
