Maybe I was wrong about Scorpios.

I think Scorpios tend to come off as ruthless or cold because they're extremely passionate and sensitive below their hard shell (similar to Cancers but a little more intense.) They have very tender feelings and aren't openly ready to share them with superficial people. This is also why they dislike these types of people and use their eyes to probe their true nature while protecting others and exposing corruption for what it is.

So, before you get fed up with them, try to think wayyyyyy below the "surface". I'm talking Pacific ocean deep. I'm not saying all Scorpios are good, but at least try to understand them. Scorpios are complex people with complex thought processes so they're gonna be misunderstood.

Its basically an all or nothing approach - they can either show all of their feelings (happiness, love, sex, anger, etc.) and risk being ridculed by people who don't understand them, or show none of it. (using your shell and producing the enigmatic, mysterious look.)

Conclusion: This is why Scorpios usually choose partners who can deal/accept who they are. (usually trustworthy, easing going people.)
