How would a person with this placement act towards the one he likes?

Given his responses were diplomatic and polite, but somewhat detached and not probing of me.

By experience, can tell you that he may try to act very balanced, but if he really likes you, he will watch your moves, your reactions (Tell you again by experience), don´t even try to play games or try to make him jelaous, he will be pissed off and will make a ice out interaction. In the begining he could look really detached because he isnt really secure of his contrapart, but once he start to feel that it´s mutual, he will start to open slowly. Show your feelings, he needs to know you are interested, dont be shy 🙂 Good luck

They love a person with a sense of humor,if you can mke them laugh then you are good to go,i can always make her laugh even though she doesnt speak much i do all the talking im an aqua,im with a scorpio for half my life and i can say that they wont open up to you at the beginning seems detached and aloof but is responsive when you speak they listen very well and even if you dont notice it they will watch your every move and observe you,if you think they dont know you then you are mistaken they know your behavior better than anyone else especially if they like you,just be yourself around them they can see fake people trust me 🙂
