Scorpion males and $

Is it just my Scorpion who pulls out his wallet with any eye glimmer he notices - regardless if it's due to a coffee craving or a new little black dress? He's Libra rising with double Scorpion.

We're both full time students and he holds down 25-30 hours a week - minimum wage. I'm unemployed and don't collect any financial assistance. I've worked since age 12, and I'm only unemployed due to educational obligations with clinic. I've never been the type to readily accept (let alone promote) being spoiled with material things from somebody else. Often I feel a bit awkward about it, even though it's often much needed.

I'm bringing this up just because he knew I needed a new base coat and top coat for my nails - and knew what I was looking at in store. We went into the drugstore for PUDDING because he had an erupted tooth extracted today (my poor poor baby had never been to a dentist) and we walked out with a receipt of $ 20. A thing of pudding is like, 50 cents.

This is obviously a small scale of it - but remember he's 100% paying for his education with no help. He'll buy me Calvin Klein pumps without batting an eyelash.

I just don't know. It's different and unfamiliar to me.

Is this another aspect, a Scorpion thing, or does my ass really look THAT good? 😉

Now this is odd, from what I've known of Scorpio males. They are usually more "frugal," and don't seem to spend much on women.

Same with Taurus, but I've known of a "cheap" Taurus to spend when it comes to Leo women. Your a Leo right?

Aqua women also seem to get guys to open their wallets a little quicker than others.

I know I'm random, but I've noticed this and it almost seems to be more about the woman then the guy.

It's been something that perplexes me. I've always paid for myself and have had no problems with paying for myself in social/date situations.

I pride myself in my work ethic and lack of materialistic concern.

I've been trying to find some text that I recall reading before about Scorpion males and their first love/partner (and first time having sex) and how it tends to differ with Scorpions who have had multiple 'heartbreaks' and partners. I'm his first, and he's all for settling down forever with me.

Being a tightwad is probably the worst quality a man or woman can have, HOWEVER, people that does not mean that I am in debt nor promote being in debt because of stupidity.

my leo mom recalls the good times with my scorp dad. she said he was so nice and giving. he'd get her gifts without her asking. he'd take her shopping on random splurges. now if only he knew how to commit they would still be together.

yeah, she's found another leo and they've been on for about 14 years now. good stuff. lol, when i see my dad he always asks about mom. 'how is she doing?" 'not thinking about you.' i say. it's the truth lol. then he wants to go on about how he messed up and if he had another chance... he never got over her. it's sad, but all i can do is take that lesson and learn from it.

It's always amazing when two lovers find one another even after a whirlwind of life. You sharing that actually means ALOT to me...

My mother is the hardest working, strongest, and the most motivating woman I know. She's a Capricorn. She fell for my father, conceived (me, lol), and was engaged. She broke the engagement and fought for a stable world for me to grow up into. My father is a great great man with a heart of gold with the best intentions, but always relapses back into smack (heroin). After 16.5 years full of a high energy Leo child, she finally met a gentle calm man - a Gemini. October 2009 they wed. I learned many lessons about sacrifice, loneliness, perseverance, and family that I don't know if I would ever be able to say that I could do without actually going off the deep end. She's really really happy with all the projects, adventures, and experiences going on in her life.

Sorry if that was a bit rambling, but I really appreciate where you came from with that and the knowledge you took from her experiences. She sounds really badass 😉

The $ $ $ comes out because he, as I, knows that Leo needs some luxury
and pampering or she will be ill, that Leos are the nicest to cuddle with
and do nothing at all, they are the sweetest... and he appreciates you
being in his life, and he shows you in a traditional way.

( Just keep those claws in when you are hurt if he is spending time
with some other female ( business/friends ) because he will interpret
it as jealousy - whereas it is simply hurt ( insecurity ) that he
was spending time with some woman other than you. He can't fix what
he does not understand ... especially if you can't express it. )

I'm never jealous with him, honestly. I know he's faithful and dedicated.

I couldn't ask for a better life partner.

yeah a scorpio i was seeing was into getting gifts. not good though cos i'm picky. he bought me a handbag which i've never used but it was a sweet gesture...he also got me a wooden carving of adonis complete with manhood and was always asking me to select something from a certain store near to my office and charge it to his card 😛

his main thing was cooking and he made me quite a few meals which he put into cartons for me and my daughter to eat during the week. he was a bit of a 'feeder' which is great cos i'm a lot of an eater!!!

so all in all, kinda generous but ultimately, he didn't have any generosity of spirit. he was cruel and judgemental in fact. i would have preferred fewer gifts and more understanding.

Mine isn't really like that. He bought me sweet things when we were dating, but now that we're married he's pretty businesslike about spending on me. He will spend lots of money on things he perceives we need (whether or not I agree that we need them), but when it comes to things perceived as WANTS, well, let's just say that I think he sees his own wants as "needs" and mine as frivolities. It's been an ongoing source of debate for us. When I want something, he reminds me there's not enough money, but when he wants something he has it in hand almost instantaneously. We make almost the same amount of income, but he makes his by working harder than I do, so I think he feels entitled to splurge on himself.

I know he wouldn't see it this way, though.

I find being a Leo and always attracted to being 'a hostess' and the Mary Tyler Moore of the household - I'm always making meals completely from scratch with unexpected flavor combinations. I'm very much into 'making the home' while keeping my individuality and future career. He cleans up the messes though - he's much more tidy! 😉

My ex scorp came from a very wealthy family and all he ever wanted to do was pay for everything. It was extremely annoying. He obviously felt like no one liked him for who he was. *smh*

My current scorp we are pretty much 50/50 on stuff. Which is nice.

I hang out with my Scorpio cousin a lot. He always wants to pay for things. I'm like "Hey! I'm your cousin NOT your date!" lol. So, next time, I just pay before he gets a chance to. Comes out even in the end. Yes, he is very generous. But, he spends money like its going out of style .

My Scorp is always happy to spend. I can't get him to not pay for dinners. He was joking all the time about how if he was a girl he'd totally take advantage of free drinks and dinners when we first started dating. For our anniversary my gift to him was a night out all on my dime for games, go carting, drinks and dinner. I got as far as drinks and he wouldn't let me pay for anymore. Said it felt weird to him.I told him not to worry I saved up for the while night to afford however much he wants but he said he didn't feel comfortable so we went home and he bought pizza for us lol.

Scorp def isn't cheap though. He spends a lot on his car hobby. Sometimes we stay in but we both enjoy going out. He buys me small presents a lot. He's not good with words so that's how he expresses his feelings. He's the same with his best friend and family.and he's not foolish about it he doesn't have any debt as his car is paid off.

The taurgem I dated was generous too. The couple of Aries and libra men were too. Cancer on the other hand...

Oh my - that scenario had me having a flashback to our engagement anniversary! Hah! We seem to always do that if one of us feels uncomfortable with having a 'night out' and can't get into that mindset of enjoying ourselves with everything going on. We both regularly enjoy going out (not as of late due to the colder months - I'm a hibernating Leo 😉 ) but are happiest together as long as we surround ourselves with 'comfort'. And I've noticed as a general that Scorpios are very generous with all their loved ones. Leos are too. I'm broke but I regularly craft and give what I can provide 🙂

I've had a good Cancer friend that I go to school with. Second semester I found out she couldn't afford food.. I spoke to my Capricorn mother and Aquarius grandmother and we got together $ 100 gift card for the grocery store. A few months later after some finances settled for her more she actually started buying me my favorite drink every once in awhile and just putting it by my seat when I wasn't around for a moment FUZE Banana Colada - got her hooked too lol!!) and it always surprised me!

My family has always taken in coworkers and friends without a second thought if we find out they're struggling or temporarily homeless. They have really good sense of values that has always been a foundation in the home. 🙂

no its not odd. if a scorpio, male or female, loves you we are concerned about your happiness. even before our own. if we see you wanting something we will just go get it for you or give you the money for it. if we got it, you can have it. we are very generous with those in our circle. downright to the point of spoiling. you must be doing something right 😉

Yeah. Money=Power. Depends on what phase of their life they are, whether they feel free relinquishing that power.

It holds true for me. As also for my Scorpio guy. We both know each other to be very hardworking and have "money accumulating" jobs. Like loves like. No power struggles. He is very very generous with his money. Invests a lot. Very intelligent with his money. I just love to splurge.

Definitely! My Scorp randomly surprised me with a watch the other day. He's so giving, I never ask for anything nor do I mention things I want to get for myself badly around him. Today he gave me money to go out and see my friend and said, "have fun"! Didn't expect that at all. He makes sure to share whatever he can or has with me. So sweet!

my dad was a scorpio, he used to buy my mom stuff all the time, when they were dating and when they got married. she loved the clothes, shoes, etc he used to buy her. he did his mom the same way. if they really care about you they dont mind spending money on you. 🙂
