warring neighbours.....wtf?

i've been in my new house almost 2 weeks and already the neighbours are pissing me off big time.

i have a gawjuss doggie. lola the showgirl dog. me and the kids rescued her a few years back and she has 'issues'. her main issue is 'separation anxiety' meaning that every time she's left alone at the house, she barks....as far as i'm aware not constantly as i've never had complaints before...but when we leave and when we come back she does and the interim obvs i don't know about cos i'm not there!!??!!

anyhow. it's a new environment for her and so obvs she's still adjusting and tbh, we've not been out until very late since we've arrived so i don't know what the german girl next door is on about.

she ambushed me the other day when i got home and complained about the dog but i got defensive really quickly and was very pissed off with her so she changed her tac and said she was concerned we were being burgled as the previous tenants were (which lead to a sleepless night for me and my daughter!).

the following morning at around 8am she and her bf were stomping all around their house. she's a big lump so i put it down to that even though she woke me up. i didn't say anything.

this morning however. a fucking saturday...the most unbelievably loud 'music' (i use the term loosely) started pumping through the walls of the house at 9am!!!

i'm sure you scorps will agree that it is NOT advisable to wake us up unexpectedly unless you're an alarm clock. so i was PISSED!! fuck knows what i looked like as i rang on her outside gate but she wouldn't move from her front door to speak to me.

she told me that they were making the point that everything resonates in the house. wrong thing to say to me cos i gave her a tongue lashing she won't forget in a hurry (cos she was too far away to clump around the head).

she already made me feel bad about leaving lola on her own but i just can't go everywhere with a dog in tow. i'll try leaving her out in the garden today but there's been torrential rain for the last few days and not much shelter for her there. this woman has two dogs of her own and so i would've expected a little bit of understanding on her part as i was apologetic when she first complained but no......she has to use childish tactics to make a 'point'.

i feel like moving again already 😢 FAB start to the weekend...not.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaah....i don't wanna be her friend 😢

i'm kinda hoping my doggie takes a massive dump on her front doorstep.

i can't believe i CHOSE to move to a more populated area.

that strawberry makes me have rude thoughts 😢
