Water People do you develop aversions to certain People/Vibes?

I know this is in the scorpio forum, but its more of a question for all water signs. I am a taurus with pisces and cancer in my chart. Sometimes when I meet people i get some strong visceral aversion to them, which makes me avoid them live the plague. I can be pretty ruthless and merciless when it comes to not giving said a person a break. Like i am some horrible

judgemental person. I dont even give them second chances. And more often than not, (not always)i turn out to be right. I am surprise

I cant articulate what bothersme, but it doesnt get any better. I believe that I am shallow for doing so, but I am slowly starting to trust my antennas. Or maybe my childhood shaped me. I was told i was a sensitive child but my mother is pretty toughminded and not very compassionate. Until recently i only dated aries women who were unfriendly when i showed weakness/lazyness/wanting to stop and pause and think. I feel more held and seen with water sign woman, (dont worry they dont baby me). When I pick up on something, that bothers me, that person MUST BE PERMANENTLY REMOVED FROM MY LIFE PREFERRABLY WITHOUT BREAKING THE LAW. Does that happen to you as well? Or maybe every human just cant stand certain vibes or idiosyncracies. I dont know, i guess i am asking scorpios cause you are being hailed for your spidersenses. You are also supposedly in tune with the dark side of human nature.

All the more reason to run the other way when you sense something. Does this rant even make sense?

Of course. But that’s not sun sign specific, just a built in defense mechanism for survival. If your gut tells you no, listen.

It does make sense. I did something similar since I was a child. The difference between you and I was, I was curious as to what it was. I watched, phypothesized, and got good at figuring what and why each feeling was in general.

It was all part of me trying to understand why people are horrible to each other growing up.

I got good at predicting behavior based off enough info. Being a wall flower people tend to drop thier guard and let a lot of their inner thoughts and feelings slip.

I know when someone is lying to me, holding back, or is conflicted over what they are saying.

Overall, can read people extremely well in person.

Even better when I get to know them and their personal history. Analyzing and understanding people's vocabulary "choice of words" can tell you even more with context applied.

Biggest red flag that triggers me is when someone tries to project what doesn't match how they really think and feel about something and it's very strong feelings they are holding back.

Lmao I use to tell people what I picked up on but very few people like being psychoanalyzed😏

Lol thank you, this is a aspect of myself I stopped doing that I need to start again.

P.s. I do know that sensitive disagreeable people tend to have a knee jerk reaction that you describe when they do not or can't get what they want. ie. doesn't match what they are looking for or expect.

I'm sure there is a better way to say all of that but you get the general idea.

It sounds like a protection mechanism. Nothing wrong with it as long as you feel protected, because not everyone is equipped to deal with train wrecks and unstable people. Plus it can be exhausting.

Though I will say.. scorpios like the challenge of something, even when it breaks them. I think what you're describing is a Cancer thing?

The strange thing is I tend to think this towards the people I actually like the most, yet still stick around. It might be the combination of Leo sun and Scorpio moon, but I'm constantly thinking about all their flaws, and how hypocritical people in general are. Though I might be looking them straight in the eyes and thinking it, I'd never truly stab that dagger in and twist. Close people in my life aren't the enemy, and anyone talking nonsense behind a screen is nothing more then just that. So basically I could easily dislike everyone and everything around me. Though I try keep those who are close by my side, and everyone else is simply neutral till proven otherwise.

Yeah I pick up vibes. But I probably got dropped as a baby because I keep on befriending air signs; so I'm picking up a vibe, just the wrong ones.


Last weekend, someone turned around and befriended me at an event. We instantly clicked and had a lot in common. I was thought to myself: this person is funny, childlike, sweet, and does not give me stage 5 clinger vibes. Could this person be my first water sign friend ever?!?

Nope - went to their house today and they pointed to the balloon in the corner of their dining room and said, "it's my birthday month! My birthday is on 2/4". I about fell out of my chair.

Once again, another air sign has adopted me "the soulless dark void".

Maybe the day I find permanence with a water sign is the day I have matured. Or I'm just stuck making friends with air (mostly), fire, and earth.


(Just looked up their chart- Aqua sun, venus and mars / sag moon. I knew it, I can't have water friends).

Maybe you like them because your weaknesses are their strength and you feel some compatibility. I connect like that with fire signs, i am a joker, but sometimes fierce about what i feel strongly about so we end up connecting over having fun and being goal driven. Doesnt mean we are meant to be together. Dont look for permanence just enjoy it. I like to party with aries women and enjoy loyalty and good food with leo woman

but i will not put a ring on their finger. I am also looking for permanence, but at the same time neediness and

expectations makes me run for the hills

You should definitely follow your gut feeling and distant from people who gives you bad vibes. But to completely burn bridges before you get your confirmation of your gut feeling or before you get to know them a little bit?


What happens if those people turn out to be future clients/customers, future team members, or future bosses?

That is smarter, at least I gotta give them a chance and or find out who i should avoid.

Probably, scorpios don`t avoid people who they deem toxic or dark/flawed in some way? Isnt that unhealthy?
