they test their partner cos they r control freaks
they just cant deal with the unpredictble or deception, like most of us
everybody have desapointments with people and everybody makes mistakes
but apparently for a scorpio being a regular human its a big deal cos they make a drama of all the faults people have

than to protect themselves they decide to make this ridiculous little ''tests'' wich dont proove anything cos everybody knows when its being tested so its impossible to have a sponteneous reaction under a situation like that
its just a waste of time, cos it makes the scorpio looks weak and paranoic and u feel like ur the one who cant trust them cos a good person wouldnt do that to u, than u feel suspicious about them like ''wtf r u doing? i tought we were good''

personally thats one of the few parts i dont like about scorpios, and its a fault not to be romaticized

Yes we have control issues...but i love them...it's great..we don't trust easy and that is brilliant because at least we don't live in some deluded bubble where apparantly fluffy bunnies are roaming the hills and the sound of music is on in the background and everyone loves each other..pffft...hahahah..

Anyways..I am not here to defend the scorpionic race..to each their own..We are who we are..like it or lump it..

I think it's pretty much that really. Reality is that not everyone is to be trusted with my life plain and simple. I just don't let everybody in. I won't create foul situations on purpose to break you but I will sure look at you going through situations, observe and take notes. I think each Scorpio go about life in their own way but I think one thing for sure is that if you got a Scorpio's trust, it's because it was earned, one way or another.

Exactly...we don't stand there with a flippin clipboard with 50 different tests, checking off as we go along..LOL..we simply OBSERVE you in all your interactions..then you either pass or fail...Just the same way a Virgo does and Capricorn and god knows how many others..we all just have different ways of doing so.

but the question was about the testing
u dont have to test to see if the person its worthy, that just makes everybody annoyed cos as i sad scorpios r not so smart that no one notices what they r planning
thats a weakness of not very well developed scorpios that didnt learn to use their perception correctly, imho lol

I think you're referring more to a maturity issue than a zodiac sign issue. What relates to Scorpio is that a Scorpio's trust is always earned. Now how one Scorpio decide to go about getting that trust will be based on his level of maturity. An immature Scorpio will believe that he has to create challenging situations for you to go through for testing purposes, then observe and take notes, while a mature Scorpio will understand that life is much better at providing those tests and will simply observe and take notes. What pertains to Scorpio is the observation and notes taking. All of that is in attempt to gain his/her trust.

I think we all assess people walking in to our lives for reassurance of their worthiness on what's important to us. Otherwise anyone would just qualify to be a friend, lover ect. We all have a list of things consciously or unconsciously that separates the good ones from the bunch. A mature individual would simply understand that it's unhealthy for him/herself to purposely create hurdles in order to achieve that.

This is the gospel truth about my scorpio.

Judging by what you(not you per se)say or do, will determine whether or not this relationship(friendship or romantic)will move forward.
If I like what I see I will take another step forward. If I don't, I won't waste anymore time. You may call it 'testing', I call it being cautious. I don't think that is necessarily a 'Scorp' thing, I call it part of the human condition.

I'm not sure you call it test, as much as a cat plays with its food.

I'd say, first, Scorpio rules the gore, the underworld. They like to test the limits of someone or something before they see if it's worthwhile to be part of it, to pursue or eat it. And they tend to test it till the brink where the subject cannot take it anymore. It's just scorpio nature.

They like extreme, they like overt and complete dominance, and they like their partner held up in chains, yet strong enough to be still surviving, happily at that.

And they don't "test" as much as manipulate, or goad, and threaten (unconsiously, of course, it all comes in insinuations) so they are in complete control.

I dont know how to answer you Eden, I dont pretend to know the mind of a scorpio fully but these are the impressions I get.
The motivation of scorpio is muchly instinctual, and thats why they are very in tune with human nature.

But they miss out on abstract forms and other more sensitive nuances exhibited by humans in ways they don't pick up.
But they test things in their own way, which, still, is very effective.



I would say a scorpio picks a transparent partner. One who they can see through without having to figure out and be suspicious all the time.

Also, sometimes, scorpio thinks or suspects something that did not happen, but still, through the power of their emotions, make it the truth, to themselves.

actually, regarding the testing, one party is more apt than the other. So even when the first party is doing the testing, the second has got all grounds covered and is testing the first party's testing, and conducting their own 🙂

The way I see it is if you can't handle me at my worst you don't deserve me at my best. It's rather simple.
I'm not an easy person to deal with all the time and there will be times when it isn't a "test" but reality. If you can't hack it then I'm not going to bother wasting my time with you. I'll find someone that can hack it. You'll either put up with it or you won't. Goodness.... it really IS so simple!!

Yes Aries and Scorps are alike as we share a planet. 🙂 I take that as a compliment anyway.
Of course Aries are transparent and they make no apologies for it. 🙂 They hide nothing. They are honest and true to who they are faults and all. I admire that. I guess you can dog Aries for being "caveman" types that have no mystery but after being lied to in the worse way by a more "evolved" sign I guess I started looking for someone who had a more honest qualities rather then toy with "mystery" games.

This has been the relationship were my "tests" have been swatted down before they even get off the ground. He passed with flying colors. He didn't take my shit 😛
