Why do scorps get a bad rap?

Do they know this? Is it misunderstood? I don't agree with it.

Hmmmm I would say the rep. i can take bad things being said in fact that's what caps are good at.

I think Caps get a rap as bad as the scorps because Caps put on a strict, no-nonsense front in the office but they have a whole 'nother dark side behind everyone else's backs. Scorp's are just more upfront about it. Caps are not allowed to be upfront because they're often responsible for many people's livelihoods.

But overall, yeah, I can see how Caps are hated because they always dominate.

Plus, they have this annoying habit of always being right. Evolved Caps seem to know how to combine their deep (but well hidden) intuition and their formidable logic/common sense and always prove everyone else wrong.

Sometimes ya just wanna slap them on the side of their heads for being so annoying 'right' all the time.

I speak to a lot of Virgos and I still got a love for Cappies! I do see where you're coming from though. lol

However, my experience has been that Scorps' reputation often precedes them. Using your "game player" analogy, I find that it's very easy to fool a scorp.....by allowing them to believe what they think is true rather than the actual truth itself.

A hothead like Aries will probably not be able to fool some scorpios but a more analytical sign like Aquarius or a Virgo can easily pull one over the scorp. Just allow them to believe whatever they want to believe rather than deny or acknowledge what you already know is the truth.

Heck, I've even seen the more emotional signs like Pisces and Cancers fool the "all- powerful" scorps...and then giggle about it afterwards.

It's not something a scorp wants to hear, I know, but I've seen how easily is it to pull them around by the nose. So I think people should just let go of their "oooh, scorps are bad, scorps are this, scorps are that" - mentality and just acknowledge that they are not that different from other signs...both good points and bad. They have their faults and weaknesses too...just like everyone else.

I do agree with the point about Virgos though. talking to some of them, it's obvious they have the scorps figured out....sometimes more than they let on 🙂

I will say this My Scorpio man has Very good traits and he has Bad, i speak more about his good. I think it is fine to vent sometimes because these can be difficult men (scorpio sign)to deal with unless you have a true understanding which you never going to get. So im going to continue to speak my peace and love my man cause it's just like that!

Scorpio's and Capricorns get a bad rap simply because theyre both superior to the other signs in every way :-)

To latch on to what MsP wrote, in general, most forums about signs are usually about someone's negative traits.....irregardless of their sign. People just want to rant....and hopefully find some answers.

It's no coincidence that the Tarot card symbol for Capricorns is "The Devil".

Capricorn has a connection to the horned god, Pan, and has a very devlish, abandoned, earthy kind of sexuality, not usually apparent on the surface.
Cappies often do have a kind of wicked look about them, which I, for one, find rather sexy.

Thats hardly a truth, in fact caps are one of the easiest to figure out. All you need to know about them is that they mostly have an agenda when dealing with people whilst they like pretending they dont, thats where their so-called "cunning" reputation comes from.

They do that to people that they don't like. And, if you're sharp enough to observe, they will deliberately leave clues to the very people that they do this to. I think they do it so that these people will figure out that the Cap is playing them and then will leave the Cap alone. And that's just what the Cap wants; to be left alone by these people whom they dislike. After all, it's easier to get people to leave you alone rather than get in their faces and tell them off.

Another reason for their "agenda" is because of their "Robin Hood"- complex. They steal from the rich & give to the poor. You may notice that Caps are very good at networking with prominent people.....and then quietly getting those people to sponsor some cause or other (like free textbooks for needy kids or something.) They're also good at spearheading large projects like getting fresh water to remote villages...usually by 'conning' some big-shot business corporation into thinking that it's an investment of sorts. Hence their 'agendas' when dealing with people.

There's sometimes an ulterior motive when a Cap deals with you. But it's usually for the greater good.
