why fragment?

Do what you want, instead of what you should.

If you do what you should, and it turns out wrong ... then a lesson has been learned to carry forward, regarding realistic forsight and wieghing options accurately.

If you do what you want, and it turns out wrong ... then you don't have to worry about a lesson on it being wrong for you because it wasn't something you should do for yourself .. and so it leaves your option open to advance in the same direction again without considering consequences.
