I would be a spirit in dreams. To take you on an adventure, to quell your fears, to remind you of good things. People are easier to communicate with when they're sleeping anyway.
So peaceful.
Thank you and bless you @RollergirlOrc🙏
I've heard it's easier for spirits to communicate
with us while we sleep.

I LOVE CROWS TOO!!!
they have as many neurons in their brains
as some primates. Compact with them*
They are really smart. I love crows and ravens.
So you would come back spiritually as a crow?
Yes, I would love to. And it’s even in tune with my beliefs.
The raven belong to the Norse concepts of the fylgja, a concept with three characteristics: shape-shifting abilities, good fortune, and the guardian spirit, and also the hamingja, the ghostly double of a person that may appear in the form of an animal.
Odin is referred to as Hrafnaguð, the raven-god. His two raven Huginn (Old Norse: "thought") and Muninn (Old Norse "memory" or "mind") fly all over the world, as his eyes and ears.
I wear a Thors hammer around my neck that is shaped like a raven claw. It’s a handcrafted reproduction of a very old design that has been found by archaeologists in the harbor of the destroyed city of Heiðabýr. Only two of those exist, the other being worn by my brother.

Ravens (corvids in general are) are quite incredible. I love the water noises they make. They're very intelligent, and will not only learn who's good to them and who's not, but teach each other, so generations of Ravens will visit benefactors. They will also leave gifts for their favorites lol.
I have to laugh because of all things, Ravens were a favorite of someone who passed recently and here's a conversation about them as a symbol of a visit from the afterlife, just as I was thinking of that person.
As to the original question, it would vary by the person. If possible that is. While some might be in tune with one thing, another might not. I have people in my life of very different beliefs, and it makes it a bit complicated lol. But if I were to choose, I choose wolf.click to expand

Enough can't be said about crows. I watch
them a lot. I would feed birds hoping they'd come.
I would love to study more of all of this.
I love this culture.
& To see your necklace one day, that would be a blessing. I have an image in my minds eye already.
Have you heard of Hellblade?

Do you know the book Vikings: the North Atlantic saga? It is older but still one of the best books I can recommend having great illustrations and covering many topics. You can get an impression here: https://archive.org/details/vikingsnorthatla00fitz/page/n9/mode/2up
I know the game "Hellblade". I like the stream of voices and how they tell part of the lore from rhinestones. The atmosphere is top notch. The protagonist is not Norse, but her journey and interpretation of the myths is quite well done. What do you like about the game?
Since it's probably unlikely you are anywhere nearby, here is a picture of said necklace. It's made from silver.

In time, all of us will be gone physically.
But maybe in time, some could be called back
to visit, tugged by a psychic medium maybe.
If you can change form and influence others
with energy if you came back among the
physical, to share information,
What form would you come as?
How would you allow others to feel in the room?
Hmmm….🤔. I will have to give this some thought, but right now I’m liking the combination of LuckyLibra7 and virgoOPPP’s response 😀❤️.click to expand

If I rarely responded when alive, what are the chances that I'll be doing that when dead??
Perhaps to troll someone though, if feeling miscievous...? My father did that to me. When alive, he was under the impression that I didn't believe in life after death, simply because he knew I was an atheist. After he died, he went to great lengths to let me know that I was wrong...
I always believed we "outlive" our death, though.

Thank u. It is nice to dream. I had a dream once where I was feeling bad about my body, and someone in the dream patted my stomach, as if to say "don't feel bad" and instantly I felt better. Some spirits can heal.from beyond. ❤️click to expand

Poltergeist hunting evil people. I'd push them to alienate themselves and eventually to do things to get themselves killed.
100% serious.
😨
Thank you and bless you @Lostthoughts 🙏
That would be interesting. I think many
people would think twice if they knew
they'd curse them selves with a
poltergeist spirit if they did harm
to others. I remember years ago
on the history Channel, there was
a program on about some of the us military
being captured by the Japanese during WW2.
One U.S. soldier was called up to have his head
beheaded by a katana blind folded. He came.
The Japanese asked if there was anything left
he would like to say.
The U.S. soldier told him very calmly that if they
Killed him, he will not rest in the afterlife and hunt
him and his family for the rest of his life.
The Japanese soldier let him go.click to expand

I'm talking about real evil.
Not good or bad.
Not right or wrong.
Not ignorance or mental illness.
Conscious acts of Malice, apathy, and selfishness that ruining other's lives.
To be a instrument of karma instead of waiting for Dharma to kick in for the damage they caused.click to expand

Well, I was Christian first, then atheist,
then spiritual.
My father might have done a few things after his passing. Two of them are quite subtle, but they also happened to me about the time my grandma passed!
Firstly, a strange feeling of happiness, bliss, peace out of the blue, after several days of intense distress. It happened minutes/hours after their passing, without me knowing that they have passed.
Then, the "ghosts". In both cases I was sleeping in their beds, days/months after their passing, and woke up to see a white mist about the size of a person, a meter away from the bed. Felt anxious, followed by the calming thought that they will not harm me. The ghosts disappeared at the blink of an eye, leaving pitch black behind. Couldn't distinguish any features, but hey, I'm shortsighted and it was dark.
After my father passed, I could hear some scratching noises (like nails on wood) several nights while sleeping in his bed, about the time of his funeral. They were located in a corner of the room. I used to hit the bed frame with my foot to make them go away. Mother and I thought it could have been a mouse, but there were no signs of one whatsoever.
I think the most emotional "sign" was when I was back home, some 3000 miles away, sitting in my open plan living/dinning/kitchen room. I suddenly heard noises I initially interpreted as drilling work outside. To my dismay, I realised that they were actually coming from my oven, which was not in usage. They stopped when I opened it, and I didn't think much about it.
A couple of days later, the noises happened again. They sounded like the oven grids were rattling/vibrating furiously, yet the oven was cold and switched off. They stopped when I opened it. It have never happened in the 14 years since I lived there. I started to think there was something wrong with it and googled it, but didn't find anything useful.
When it happened for the third time, I almost started to shake. I knew it was unusual, the equivalent of your switched off TV producing static, white noise all of a sudden. I thought it might be dad...
The fourth and fifth time I when it happened they were witnesses in the house who also found it creepy. I also filmed it. I was more and more convinced this vibration of the metal oven grids (that I couldn't even see, but hear) was some paranormal activity produced by my dad.
When it happened for the 6th time, I actually said hi dad, opened my arms and kissed the air. The noise never happened again, and it's now 1.5 years later. If it had something to do with my dad, it means some important things: A dead person has memory, not just some quantum consciousness. It has the ability to travel thousands of miles from the place where they died. It can see us and understand our behaviour.
I don't even mind he let the oven do the talking, lol. My father occupies space on my brain, good enough to generate a hologram that looks like him and talks like him, whenever I want. And so does any human being for their loved ones.
That oven grids vibrating for no reason, though....that was paranormal activity that had nothing to do with my imagination, so much more convincing to a skeptical mind like mines. Well done, dad!

A dwarf star? Oh wow that is beautiful.
To help give life on other planets?
That is amazing. I've never thought of
being a celestial Being as this.
If my memory serves me, they
last a lot longer than the larger
stars too.

Wow, you were looking at one
this whole time while responding.
Wow
They sound like loud crying
babies in the video too 😳.
I'm trying to imagine that on the beach, that has got
to be annoying. Is there a season when they are gone
or they are there all year round?
I have a little bit of anxiety from Robins myself.
