True, you will note we do it with out all the allstars. People with a lot of talant but no one who is the a rod or the big star.

dad had a baseball autographed by all the original St. Louis Browns. including Satchel Paige (sp?). lost it when mom burnt down the house.

yeah. it happened. i've wondered about how much it would have been worth. a week before the fire, i thought about taking the ball home with me, never dreaming it was my last chance to see it or her again.

in some ways it was a very tragic accident. but of course more complicated than just that.

yes in some ways... took a long time to get to today. taught all of us alot, and that's the only positive thing to come out of it.

When I was a kid I went to Bronwee games, my dad would take me they left St louis in early 50's became the bailtamore orieals.

dad's dad got the ball signed for him. grandpa louis would take the ball to games until all the team had signed it.

A Daughter, I grew up here, I left in 1960 and came back in 1995. I live in what is called the west end.

I was a little kid my father was na Browns fan until they left in 54 then he went to the cards. If I did I don't remember it.

Stan Musial is one of the most down to earth people you will ever meet. He had a restrunt here after his baseball days were over. Always there would come around and talk to the people I have spoken with him many times a great guy another was Ken Boyer, and a football player Jacke Smith all ver down to earth people.

It looks like he was heading down the wrong road for a player was at some strip clubs and they found drugs in his suv, you cant party all night and be a player. but a tradgic end.
