Are we both playing games? A breakup

So I broke up with my bull. About two weeks later I tried to rekindle but he said he moved on. He sent me a handful of messages starting right after I left when he said he moved on. He continued to send me a few more messages throughout the week. I ignored most of them because I assumed he was just still getting things off his chest because he talks a lot lol and took them as breadcrumbs. After the previous week he eventually said he was struggling and I mirrored his response. We haven’t talked since but he keeps watching my stories and liking my posts.

My friend said that we’re both playing games and being silly right now, but I don’t think so. I just think we’re exes who still love each other and that’s it.

This is my first Taurus relationship so I don’t know how bulls handle breakups.

After he said he had moved on and was happy I thought he was just venting so I didn’t see the point in responding. He just kept going on about why he made his choice, what was I supposed to say?
