There is no such thing as 'cusps'. He was born with his sun in 29 degrees Taurus. What this means is simple: Every sign has 30 degrees (360 divided by 12 is 30). The sun moves one degree in our natal per year, so after one year of his life his sun PROGRESSED into Gemini. This means he is still a Taurus, but he will take on some Gemini characteristics.
