Astrological Insights on Taurus Love Interests

Taurus individuals are drawn to stability and genuine connection. A Cancer with Taurus placements offers nurturing and affection, while a Virgo Taurus connection emphasizes friendship and shared values. Long-term compatibility depends on emotional bonds and mutual understanding, with Cancer bringing tenderness and Virgo offering intellectual compatibility. Consider your emotional needs when choosing between them.

Watcha peeps

I have a couple of 'leads' at the moment with regards to lurve. I am Taurus sun, Scorp Ascendant and Libra Moon (Venus in Gemini)

One chap is a lovely virgo (lots of taurus) who I've been crushing on almost as soon as I met him. There hasn't been any physcial intimacy, but we are good friends who have formed a strong bond in such a short time. There's a little bit of reciprocal sharking going on, and there's a lot of things I like about him. However, recently an old fling from way back has returned to the scene, and has confused me a little.

He's a cancer with a lot of taurus placement too. He has a lot of qualities I like. He's paternal, funny, affectionate and generous. The sex was amazing, and we seem to have a physical intimacy that isn't present in the other. However, we don't have the unspoken bond that I have with the Virguy.

It's odd. Both have such lovely positives, but I guess depending on which one may choose me and vice versa, I know the relationships will be different.

Who has experience of these combinations, and can anyone give me insight in to the long term prospects?

Thanks chaps and chapesses.

Happy MAY DAY!

I would personally go for the Cancer male.

I think Virgo men and Taurean women have a great bonding but more in a friendship/understanding way, which kinda loses the passion side of things. Whereas Cancer men and Taurean women have a bonding in an emotional/sensual way which keeps things heated for sure.

cancer is the better match in general and it sounds like the better match of these two. I have plenty of experience dating both and can say with certainty that cancer is best for taurus. As far as the "unspoken bond" the lack of it is actually good for you with the cancer because it will force you to learn to open up and express your thoughts and feelings. When I was younger I was like a wall - never expressed anything, and as I've gotten older I've tried to be more open [by the way I also have scorp rising and that adds to the mystery and difficulty with others knowing what's going on in your head]. I've recently gotten back in touch with a guy I went to school with [a cancer] and within two minutes of us talking to each other he confessed he'd always had a thing for me in school, and I always did as well, but neither of us ever showed it. We've been a lot more open with each other since we got back in touch and it's been great. I have several virgo exes and there's always been a lack of affection there - not of passion, but of affection.

Virgo.

We're manlier. I don't know what you're saying about Virgo's lacking affection. Perhaps some do, but for the most part, Virgos want to care for someone and give affectionate. In fact, I find it the other way around, Taurus, and especially Cappy make me feel unloved sometimes.

excellent points virg_goki, but I think the issue is more with how people display love and affection. Virgo may feel that they are expressing affection and taurus is not, and vice versa - but it may simply be a matter of personal perspective and if that is the case then it's a simple matter of incompatibility. Note that I did say there no lack of passion......

depends wats in a birth chart.

water placements in venus sensitive affection

fire placements in venus fiery affection

earth placements partical affection by doing things for people.

air placements in venus detached and flighty i have venus in libra and mercury in libra so i know lol.

virgos only appear tough but sensitive like a kitten hence they hate being criticized and need approval for they're deeds similar to leo but without all the fiery ego lmfao.

i find bulls to damn stubborn for their own good.

cappies are good lol.

BORING! not in the sense of dull per se. in the sense of comfortable/predictable. even the fun is comfortable and predictable.

if you're looking for fireworks, look to another sign. you may find you don't need them and in a way, you can be in this comfortable union and feel as if you don't need a fiery, passionate bond.

the reality is, when earth meets earth, it's a grounded union. doesn't make it wrong but seriously, has to be one of the most boringly comfortable couples on the planet. a joy to be around and the envy of others though.

pfft!

my first experience with a VM was in college. i was a virgin so no chance of sex. he stayed the night for some reason. although it was summer, my roomies kept the AC on "Iceberg."

he spent the entire night being awkward. got into bed. he slept on top of the blanket.

weirdos 😛

VB that translates to...

in the end yeah, he'll know how to dance to the music but i don't feel like bring a flow chart and a power point presentation into the bedroom.

im not saying they're incapable. everyone is an individual but having dated 3, slept with two, virgo is a sign i wouldnt mind growing old with but taurus and virgo...great foundation. a nice lil rancher with a white picket fence, 2 kids, a dog and a john deere. yep! 😛

When it works Earth & Earth is a very solid foundation indeed. And I agree with the homely feel-good bit. But I LIKE that. I will say he was the only Virgo I've been with, and that was a marriage over a decade long, however! The chemistry was white hot, always. As a matter of fact I got the eyeball when he picked up our son this past Friday. No way in hell was I going there, but I got the look alright.

i'd definitely be cool with it post-menopause.

the sameness, the stability, the understanding, the humor, the unspoken language that exists between my bff and i is wonderful. but something is missing. it's not enough that he's a ho...barring that, i don't feel huffy for him. never have. i think the stability is ideal but it makes me "ruttish."

so maybe my fire needs "more."

Could be. You know what you need in that arena. There simply must be chemistry with the understanding. Sack time ( or outdoor time, in the shower time, over the washing machine, etc, etc, ad nauseum ) is an important part of a relationship. Definitely.

with bff, it fires on all cylinders except in the "love" department. more like, i love you as my big brother if that makes sense.

maybe it's due to mitigating circumstances but given the experience with the other virgo, i dunno. they're great to be around but i'm not lusting in a venus in aries sorta way. nothing wrong but excluding my bff, it's like an evening with charlie brown...with more silence.

but to the topic, i've never met a cancer male that i know of. one of my best friends is a cancer female and she and i are like frick and frack but i can see the moodiness. a moody, mothering man...dunno. charlie brown does have a nice shaped head.

That makes perfect sense. There's no passion. It's comfortable and meets emotional needs but no fire below deck. I liked the Charlie Brown reference, wonder if flipped round all he heard was "Wah wah, wah wah WAH WAH." 😄

In nod to topic, I've never been with a Cancer male.

in arguments, i just imagine being nagged to death and giving a lot of blank stares as i refuse to move not one inch.

if i'm the aggressor then some yelling on my part and a stubborn refusal on his to accept blame.

That aspect is quite accurate tubby. So! Where does that leave us Bullish lassies? Elusive Water, Flash in the pan Fire? Burning white hot then disappearing in a puff of smoke, Air that blows like a breeze, fluffy clouds, or Rock Solid Earth.

Hell if I know either tubby 😢. I know what I need, as a woman. Hmm, another VM. I honestly don't know the answer to that. I think whatever man stepped up to the plate would have to be strong. This is what I do know. Because I am, and I'll not be needing to run roughshod over anyone thanks. But as to what sign that is, who knows? If I had that key, that answer, I'd have the world.

yeah, haven't met the right brand yet either. will say that i've done compatibility charts in the past and most have not exactly been favorable. i did one recently that was shocking pleasant. interested in seeing how that one turns out. so ultimately, i guess it's a total package that determines the outcome...or so i hope.

It would take an uncommon man, that's for sure. And agreed, I don't think there's any one 'perfect' sign. It would depend on whether brain met, as well as body. Does my bullshite mesh with yours? A lot of variables to it. A lot to slap down on the table and consider.
