Cancer & Taurus

In theory, Taurus/Cancer should be one of the best combinations with an excellent chance at success. Taurus simply cannot get too much affection and tender loving care, which Cancer is more than willing to provide. On the other hand, Taurus will protect Cancer from the cold world by supplying solid and secure assets. Both partners are concerned with safety, as well as being home-loving, emotional and sensual. The understanding, as well as the admiration, is strictly mutual. On the negative side, the dark moods of Cancer, coupled with the stubborn nature of Taurus, could create some "muddy" moments and both partners need to search for constructive ways to let off steam rather than brood and sulk over grievances. Cancer must learn how to adopt a direct approach to problems, since Taurus fails to comprehend anything else. Heart-to-heart talks are often necessary for each to fully understand the other. Taurus becomes infuriated when teased, while the Cancer who has been hurt will retreat into a moody silence.

In order for this relationship to last, flexibility is a key life lesson for both to learn. It is necessary for Taurus to reach out beyond his or her super-safe surroundings in order to try something new. Meanwhile, Cancer will have to step out of his or her beloved routines (often regarded by others as addictions) and also try something new. If this can be accomplished, then the Taurus/Cancer combination will light an inner fire that truly feeds the soul.

I don't agree with the above generalizations about dark moods and stubborn nature. The best relationship I ever had was with a Taurus girl and I can't say I remember either of those things. Even if there ever were problems, as few and far between as they were, it wasn't anything we couldn't sort out.
