Do you RUN..? HIDE ? Withdraw ? Escape ?

I do this OFTEN...ESP with its overwhelming..... I also run and withdraw to my " ME TIME " ..

Do you also RUN when you are scared or you feel you may be falling in love with someone ?...

I don't think I'm scared of falling in love. I haven't been disappointed in my choices yet (there's still time), so I say bring it on. Maybe because I take my time and choose who to fall in love with. I think it's a choice, or I haven't yet experienced the type of love where you "can't help it" or "heart won't listen". So no, under normal circumstances I don't think I'd run from falling for someone, after all I made the choice.

I withdraw when I've made myself too vulnerable. Fear of not being accepted, I suppose.

"Me time" is just for recharging.

Oh, Just realized this was the Taurus board. Hope it's okay if other signs chime in. At least we're the same element! 🙂

I do all of the above. I run when I feel rushed, pressured, or pushed into doing something. I hide when my feelings are to strong or when they are confusing. I withdraw when I need space to breath or think.

I withdraw when I'm hurt or angry too.

I think everyone does that regardless of sign.

That's not always a good thing tho.. Most of the time it's necessary but other times an old crutch to fall on...

But why would you pull out/disappear when your feels are too strong for the person? Doesnt that make it worse? Then you'll start missing that person @_@ so confused

I withdraw for my "me" time, mostly when i'm scared of the world and have no idea what to do, listen to songs a lot to get a grip on myself.
Other don't understand why i disappear all of sudden, they're always complaining when I do that.

In love I don't withdraw because I always crave to see her again soon as possible and the waiting kills me.
But in general life, yes I escape a lot to my lonely world of "mp3+reading". After this period in the cave, I sort of know what to do again.

..Songs + Books..+ internet browsing....are my way of withdrawing.... or my way of recharging my batteries...

with me personally...it takes me a lot of courage to reach out to the person i have STRONG feelings for....i can sit here...think about him 24/7 and complain about him to every single person....i know....and still i just sit there and refuse to reach out to him....its kind of strange... it could be my aqua moon as well...but once I do...its sincere and sweet and very caring....but i will pull back as soon as i don't get the result i wanted....then i pull back like no tomorrow and it will take me a long time to TRUST and reach out again...if ....ever.....

Definitely do all of the above...mostly when I'm hurt, but don't like to show that I'm affected, shows anyway with my moodiness 😆 and I haven't fallen in love yet, but I would withdraw if I show interest and feel like I'm not receiving the same amount of interest or attention...

@STVG: so what does it mean when a taurus man is persistent and doesnt give in even tho the person(his intrest) doesnt give him any attention and he still pursues?

The funny thing is... The more I run... The more I hide...escape and withdraw.... my feelings become even stronger for that person... That's when I know it was real from the beginning... we are pretty good at hiding them though.. we are so solid.. and refuse to reach out when it feels like a threat... Security is my number one... It's like air for me.. Without it i find it hard to breath and live.. When there's security in love for me then I can provide nothing but well worth your time and investment... loyalty to the core n the love sincere no one can ever imagine... wishy washy behavior throw me off edge and yet I must admit I am guilty of "presenting" my own self to others. Being in love with a Taurus man makes me realise he's a mirror of my self and what I do to other people. It's a BiG lesson for me that I am working on... We are complex in a simple way. 🙂
