Do you talk about your job...ALL THE TIME

My Taurus man is talking about his job constantly. It's the same old story, the same old advice I give, and he just goes on forever. AND THE SOLUTION IS SO OBVIOUS.

Last night I really needed to go to sleep and he just kept talking about this it was so draining.
What is a nice way to tell him to STOP! I am happy he's confiding in me, but there's a point where you gotta buck up and shut up. I missed a few hours of sleep over this and couldn't get a word in edgewise!
Not to mention he was boring me to tears...

I barely talk about my job lol

Good. It made me realize I talk about my job too much as well.
I'd rather be discussing dreams and other things with him. Uplifting and inspiring.

I rarely talk about my job. It's not that exciting and I like my job. Once in a while I vent about it but its rare.

We are the type to talk about the same problems over and over and do nothing about it. It takes us a long time to act.

I think they do this if there is something negative going on and they just wanna vent. Mine does the same thing and as you said it's draining to keep hearing it over and over. But what can you do? I guess just keep listening. That's all I do and try to offer some lil' advice here and there. Maybe till the situation at his job gets better lol

Men don't talk to you about their problems because they want YOU to come up with a solution, that's THEIR job - ever wonder why when you have a problem they actually offer a solution (regardless of how non-solution it is), do you ever notice when you talk to him about your problems you just want him to listen and not come up with a solution, men come up with solutions and women listen, so just listen, nod and tell him you understand, how well he's handling it and you're sure he will find the best way to deal with it 😉

He just apologized, realizing he was exhausting me, then I returned the favor today just to make sure he knows how it is 🙂

Then he sent a clip of him singing and we are all good haha

Security means a lot to Taurus. Maybe he lacked job or financial security for a long time & just can't stop talking about it now b/c it's his way of expressing how everlastingly grateful he is now!

Is he a workaholic? If all he ever does is work, then usually all they ever talk about is work too lol

Is his job really stressful or involving co-workers that irk his nerves? If so, he's just venting to you b/c he probably can't at work or trusts you with those things moreso than some of his buddies. If he's mostly complaining about his job, then you should probably be a little more sensitive about this b/c a lot of men tend to withdraw when their jobs become stressful b/c anything involving how he supports/provides for himself is a big deal to men. And if he's using you as an outlet as opposed to withdrawing & taking his stresses out on you, then if I were you, I'd be grateful lol

Is he bragging about his job moreso than just talking about it as a whole? If so, then maybe he's just trying to impress you. This might also be the case if he just recently got a good job or got promoted to a position that he feels you'd think is honorable or gives him some kind of "status."

Or maybe he's just 1 of those guys who obsesses about himself & everything going on in his life lol 1 minute he's dominating the conversation by talking about his job, the next day it's about something else, ya know?!

LOL He's not expressing grateful he's talking about the same issues over and over again that I have already told him how to rectify. Anyways, this issue has already passed. He checked himself. Sometimes Taurus can be like a broken record and I hardly have the patience to let him get past the first two words because I already know what he's going to say. I'm way ahead of you buddy :p
