Does this Taurus like me or am I insane?

Okay. So. This taurus guy and I work together. I am a leo woman. A few weeks ago, I found out (assumingly) he has a crush on me because his friend/roommate who also works with us asked me for my number to give to him one day while he wasnt at work. The friend said taurus man was afraid to ask me because he knows my mom (also a partial friend of family) and didnt want to "fuck anything up and have her pissed at him". — So thats my first kind of confusing set of thoughts... i know some taurus men are notoriously shy... but we're both in our 20s so I suppose I expect a bit more straightforwardness.

Since giving him my number though, we text daily and frequently thoroughout. We see each other maybe twice a day when working together and when we do (on smoke breaks) I catch him looking at me a lot for no reason, he gets up and goes back inside when i do, and if he doesnt... or if I lag a half a minute behind him or something, he makes a concerted effort to hold the door for me. Hes sweet. But we dont speak much while were on break together, especially if many people are around too.

I did see him outside of work once... spent a few hours at his apartment just talking and at the end of that he kissed me. Im really afraid it was a one time thing. He told me I was a good kisser. That he rarely met a woman who could kiss the way he did... so thats a good thing right?

I just feel like hes retracted a bit since then. He isnt flirty in a way im used too. But as I stated... im a leo. Im used to obsessive attention. Have I met my match in a calculating taurus? Does he like me and I just need to be patient or am I wasting my time?
