Leo women and need for attention in relationships

So, i just recently committed myself to a relationship to someone who is not a Leo and am having a lot of self esteem issues because for once I am not the one being craved for. When it comes time for any sort of "behind closed doors" activity, he has me chasing after him like a puppy dog, yet he can still say no... This is new to me.... And i dont like it much.
Not only this bothers me but he also comments about how hot other women are sometimes and even goes as far as to tell me i should make myself more like them. i.e "I saw this chick with a pistol tattoo on her hip... so hot.. You should get one...", "babe, chicks with tattoos are hot." and he will show me pictures of girls hes been with and they have all of the physical traits that he likes... Which makes me think that i dont which is why he has no problem rejecting me in the bedroom. It is making me shake with jealousy but i dont want to tell him that because my pride is HUGE... I also am afraid he will think Im over reacting. How do i approach this?

This isn't about a lack of attention.

It's about a lack of Respect.

And you're TOLERATING it.

He tells me not to worry and not to try to change myself for him but i feel like if i dont he will leave me for some chick that he finds more attractive... I want to talk to him before just ending it but im very strong minded and dont want it to seem like i need my ego stroked... even though i DO. I am as Leo as they come... My ego needs a boost much more often than most or my attitude gets all jacked up. And now here i am insecure and moody... Ugh

He is doing this for one of two reasons

1) He is a socially clueless retard

2) He is an asshole

Quite possibly it's both.

Is there any chance you can take some money or a big TV or something when you leave him?

Again... this isn't about needing your ego stroked-- wtf?

No woman in her right mind would sit idly by and look at

pics of their current so's EX girlfriends, while he told

her to be more like them.

If they're so amazing, why aren't they dating anymore?

Unless you're turning this into something it isn't, and

not telling the whole story?

Strong minded would tell him to love you as-is or gtfo.

He's abusive. Plain and simple.

I'll tell you what my female Leo mate did. She was dating a guy who preferred his pornstars over her and always comparing them. it was really fucked up and it messed with her self esteem. she dumped him after a year.

I had a Virgo that had a habit of pointing out flaws.

I told him in no uncertain terms that if he continued doing that,

we were finished.. and I meant it.

I'm not perfect, but I happen to like myself (took a long time to get there)

and I refuse to let someone else make me self-conscious for no good reason.

He quit.

However, nothing was ever right in his world, and he complained about it

constantly... but never made a move to change anything.

Ultimately, I just couldn't take the cynicism-- it was soo heavy. o.O

I usually respond with "Babe, that makes me feel great.....Why do you do that?"
And he says " I was just saying"
He tells me he loves me and that im his number one but i cant help but think hes going to be more physically attracted to someone with the qualities he wants and he will leave me... Or be bored of me heaven forbid. His birthday is September 7th.
