Double Standards

Far out, I've hit a whole wave of seemingly double-standards with my Taurus male.

"Don't do this, don't do that" he says....and promptly does whatever it is himself and spends large amounts of time tediously explaining why it's okay for him.

Example: "I don't want to meet anyone you've slept with". Okay, fair enough, I can understand that.
Off we go to a party, I spend ages talking to a female friend of his and then get told after "oh yeah, we slept together years ago". lol, righty-oh (she was lovely by the way, a lot of fun).

I'm bemused, but irritated since it's double standards - one rule for him, another for me.

Another example: "I hate when you don't come round just because you're tired. You should come round anyway" and then "Nah, I'm too tired to drive over". offs.

Just venting. The man cannot see what he does is confusing and irritating. Nice bloke in general, bloody annoying habits at other times.

Kind of the same thing, but not really:

Me: "I don't think I can come over because it's late and I have work in the morning."
Him: "Just come over anyway, sleep over, and leave for work in the morning."

Me: "Hey can we hang out tonight? I have no problem coming over after you get off work.
Him: "...I'll see. I work pretty late tonight... I'll let you know."

Usually I come over after he gets off work anyway and he doesn't work until much later than I do. Gah, it's like you can't tell me to come over when I'm not ready AND decline my offer to come over for when I'm offering free cuddling. Silly bull 😛
