Emotionally invested VS Compatibility

Suppose there are 2 girls, the girl you (bull) is invested in, basically gave her your everything, has you running circles around her. Then there is the girl who you are 100% compatible with, your ideal girl who is good to you/wants you. Who would you pick?
(Just a scenario)

Compatibility

Stick with the tried and true (comfort, security) - the other may fail miserably regardless of how compatible you may believe you are in the present.

I think Taurus men would require both.

Of all the Earth signs who desire stability, compatibility and security, Taurus men are the most Venusian.

A deep emotional connection is strongly recommended, if not required.

You can't be openly affectionate (Most Taurus men are), loving, and amorous to a dry wall with an approval check-off list.

Being in love then becomes mundane, and then the final piece to the jigsaw puzzle finds it's way into the arms of someone else(infidelity).

As a Taurus woman, I need both!

I need to be 'in love' with my man, and I also need that security as well.

This is not an easy task to seek for a Taurean.

I guess this is why the process during the courtship phase is so time-consuming, and patience with a Taurus is essential.

It seems to me, they'd go with compatibility. From what I see, I don't see an ideal girl being passed.

happen to me when both appear at same time ...

the first girl i choose to like is due to compatibility ...
playful and as fun as me ... clicked together so well ...

then found out she actually attached ...
it really broke my heart cause she told me she's single when asked before .. twice
was just having me cause i am fun & cheering to her life ...
still friends though after that ... more closer ... and with benefits 😛

at same time the second girl i work with in same company
i show i cared her ... nurtured her ... crack jokes at her ...
and I realized she actually likes me ... whatever we do ... we can feel the mutual connection ...
I do admit i had feelings for her but I am going for first girl thats why i keep it away
she got hurt cause I showed her so many things and yet I am still not hers ...

anyhow ... years later ... the second girl quite bitchy n annoys me
when her evil twin sister showed up frequently ... she's a Gemini 😛

that's was 7 or 8 years ago ... long story short ...
both are married with shaky marriage
frequently finds me to hang out with 😄

to answer yr question ...
it would be best of the world to have both ...
but there's no full perfection in life ... or maybe I am just unlucky 😄

I would take on emotionally invested ...
and the dis-compatibility .... can be tuned to acceptance aka compatibility both sides 😄

since this is Taurus forum ... Security would be the keyword ... in both

Capricorn here and I think Taurusbull1977 summed it up nicely. Emotionally invested but not 100% compatible could be dry and loveless. 100% compatible but out of reach is but a dream. Taurus looks for both, and as hard as it may come and they the patience to wait for both.
