How do people see Taurus?

first off let me start by giving my placements taurus sun libra rising virgo moon and leo mars

i met a really cool aries lady today at the mall, she was an evolved aries because she was in her mid 30s and seemed mature. and we talking astrology, yadda yadda, and she said that people see taurus as very strong individuals, okay obviously, we are the bull, and then she was trying to describe what our presence was like and she didnt seem to find the right words, but she also said that sometimes, since our presence is so strong, it tends to piss people off or intimidate them.

to be honest, i was kind of hurt and offended by this, because tauruses are not initially aggressive like aries or any fire sign are, we are very warm and kind, we are only fiesty when we need to be.
but i guess that makes sense because in high school i never had a lot of friends, just a few, i always felt like people were scared of me or intimidated by me, even the popular ones (mind u i was a conservative artsy, minded my own business, did my own thing, type of girl).

how do other signs see taurus? regardless of relation, age, or gender. just in general.

Wow that is strange! Aries are very in your face a bit brash and load.. and that's from day one. I recently started talking to a Taurus.. he seemed a little bit quiet at first, but seemed a bit withdrawn.. like he was scoping out. But he did have a air about him that was quite manly.. very well groomed and clean looking lol Getting into a conversation and when things started getting abit more comfortable he was very comical.. liked using his hands and using facial expressions. Also came across quite demanding ( not really in a bad way though) Just like he knows what he wants. Very generous.. offering something or opening a door. Found this Taurus really interesting!

Also rocking up with a very fancy Audi at the age of 24... Very proud of his possessions!

I know right so annoying. I'm just gojng to ignore that.

I' an Aries and I see Taurus on the outside as very confident, sometimes a bit blunt and harsh. I find them to be accidentally offensive but mean no harm. Once I get to know them however, I come to see they are softer and more caring than I initially thought, and physically insecure.

3 of my closest friends are Taurus. 🙂

Sorry, that was confusing... so on the outside they come across as very confident but I feel that it is a mask for their inner insecurities.

That is only what I get from Taurus anyway, it's just the way I read them. Maybe I have it wrong.

the libra that i know does lol, hes a libra sun, rising, moon, venus, and mercury with scoprio mars.

i have gotten by a lot of people all my life that i am intimidating... which i havent understood until now. my best friend in high school, a libra, told me later in life that she admired me for two years before i talked to her in class one day, invited her out and we became friends.
i have been taught from an early age to put my best foot forward and put on a happy face (both parents librans) and I've been told that i am very "here i am". i try not to let others opinion affect me but my own worst critic will always be myself and im sure im not nearly as confident as i may appear. i am either attractive for my confidence and outgoing nature or offputting for it... depends on the person.

i don't feel particularly insecure or obsessed with myself (maybe sometimes a little in conversation!). i like to do my best because i want to make someone else happy. what's wrong with sharing a bit of joy with others?

do i seek acceptance from people? not really. in truth it's water off a duck's back. i think there was a thread recently about this on the libra board. funnily enough most of us echoed that we cared very little about others opinion of us. we just don't sweat the small stuff.

i see taureans as the workhorse of the zodiac. they are the ones that are always there in the background just doing their thing.

insecure? not so much but i think they can sometimes undervalue themselves. they put others first as they take on more and more of other people's nonsense. maybe that is a self esteem thing. they certainly aren't brash or obnoxious. but yes, stubborn and slow to change course on one hand, persistent and dogged on the other.

I'm still insecure with my psychical (& Even though that I'm to ugly for this and that) and I have Libra Rising. 😐

Aww,Hb,you don't have to be.Keeping astrology aside,no one should ever feel physically insecure.There are no parameters of Beauty and ugliness,infact,these terms are relative.Person A may seem more beautiful to me than person B,which means,according to me,person B is ugly,you may find person B beautiful and person A less beautiful and hence you may conclude person A is ugly.See? The terms are relative,not definite.It's how you see things.Besides,there is no such thing as ugly.it's only a relative comparison of beauty.people often have generalised conceptions of beauty based on what the majority thinks,but,majority can't define people.Just because a ton of people say person A is ugly,person A becomes ugly.NO! Everyone's beautiful.You are beautiful.Always remember.And never ever be affected by such superficial things,because it's you who decides if you're beautiful or not,and not what the general notions are.Be a nice human.That's all one should try be. 🙂

Amen. I have a Libra Moon and I can care less what people think. I am insecure in some areas of my life like relationships, but very aggressive and very confident in other areas like career and knowing what I want.

Gil how are you insecure in relationship? Like you are nervous that they will cheat on you or leave you? Idk, I'm a Virgo moon lol..

I have Virgo rising. So that nervousness and insecurity is coming from Libra or Virgo? My insecurity is centered around them accepting me overall; am I good enough, fun to be around, etc. When I get with a sign that doesn't express themselves emotionally; i.e. Caps, the insecurity gets worse and eventually consumes me.

Some Gemini and Taurus people do not work out.. clearly the first time he met a Taurus he saw that in her, watched her actions and behavior. Then Taurus probably has a long list of negative traits in Gemini that does not sit right with the bull...so alot of hurt feelings and moving on quickly the sooner the better...Gemini are not compatible for Taurus.. friends sure..that's it..

I had an aries friend tell me that I was insecure about jumping into marriage and kids if there was a connection with someone right off the bat..only I have jumped into that with an Aquarius and that turned sour fast.. great connection, great sex but that's it.

.. I said no I want to wait and be sure we're right for each otherI. I don't want to jump in and regret having a bad thing or being a single parent..and that's not insecure..that's just my practical side of me...

I am all about balancing my life suitable for me...and maybe some one else..ps my aries friend jumped into marriage and is already divorcing his wife over a year only. He even said I jumped in with a past relationship of mine, felt pressured because his sisters liked her, so he figured why not take the risk.. and now he is not happy..just waiting for her to find somewhere to go.. so jumping in is a risk we take..I don't jump in anything because fear sets in..that's scary to have an amazing connection with someone and then it fizzles out quickly..
