How to think of stuff to talk about everyday?

I send silly texts like "I'm going to annoy you today" or "It's your fault" or some other nonsense statement. This get's his attention and then we have a nonsense conversation. For example, the other evening he said he was off to iron his hirt for work. I then said, just called a taxi, 1 black bin bag of washing on its way to you to press and fold and send back to me all freshly pressed, is that ok? Just silly things, but he seems to like them.

I bring up a random current events and discuss the philosophy or implications of said events.. I like to send random tidbits Ive learned or perceived. But yeh, I tend to fall for talkers so Ive no idea what's it like to have a SO who only does small talk topics. Just relax and open up--- he'll perhaps feel more comfortable and open up to you. But I would also suggest that if it continues, you should have a talk about it. maintaining emotional connectedness is at it's highest priority when in a ldr.

@Lisa1234. Get on SKYPE with your beau. Something about seeing Eyes & Smiles that gets convo flowing for me. (I'm Visual)

IN this case, Texts should be used for "Good morning", "Just checking in.." or "Goodnight" texts. Keep them short so you'll have more to talk about later. So...Other than that, When you can, just GET on the PHONE to talk or Skype.
