Whilst driving from LA to Phoenix I stopped at a rest area. There was a pasture bordering it with a dilapidated fence. To my delight there were cows near it. I sauntered over and began talking to them as I have an amazing ability to communicate with animals. 😛 They stayed their ground, not amused nor moved by my actions and continued to chew contently yet eyed me suspiciously. Then, out of nowhere came a bull! Oh, he was magnificent! Strong & powerful, he roared up with a, "What's going on here?" look on his face. I became a cutting horse, trying to out maneuver him to talk to the cows, but he wouldn't have it. I walked over to a large hole in the fence and he followed suit. He stuck his massive head out and I petted him.
In a soothing voice I told him, I only wanted to talk to your cows, I'm a girl so you don't have to worry. He wasn't buying it. "No, really, I'm not bi or into inter-bestial activities, and he was like, "Hmmmm, whatever. Talk to me not them." I kept petting his face and he started gnashing his horns against the fence. Quite scary as the fence would only need a few good kicks before it would be knocked down completely. Wasn't sure if he liked my petting him or was he trying to kill me? Was his aim off or was the fence in the way? The more I petted & talked to him, the more he swayed his horns. I backed off while speaking in a soft tone facing him so he wouldn't charge through the fence. Thankfully, he remained and I have lived to tell this tale.
So what do you think? Did he like being petted or did he want to kill me?
Cute story.Speaking animal wise, and not astrologically...bulls are not affectionate(unless bottle raised by some 4 H kid,and I still wouldn't trust one).they are territorial, whether you are male or female, and yes he would most likely have killed you if given the chance.
