I wanted to incite a discussion about something that's been on my mind about my Taurus girl.
Initially I disliked the fact that Taureans "possess" their partners, but now I'm kind of liking it. I guess you could say that I used to be the typical "nice guy" and now I'm trying to be a real mature man instead. It could just be my Leo rising, but I kind of like to flaunt my masculinity around her. In a way, I like to remind her that the man she "has" is a great man.
My question is, does this ever make Taureans annoyed? I know you girls like manly men, but is there some kind of threshold to this?
Nope! Not unless you are dragging your knuckles, fashioning flint arrow heads, peeing on her leg or dragging her off by the hair...now that you mention it, this holds its own appeal. 😉 And you keep on flexing, she'll keep on smiling, but I can just about bet she's aware. Which is why she's at your side.
I like manly men, but if someone keeps showing off to me after a while I would probably get annoyed, but that's just me. The way I see it is.. if I'm with you I'm with you for a reason... showing me once in a while how manly you are is fine but if its a constant thing it would eventually start to bother me.
Yeah I don't think I "show off." I'm mature enough to know my limitations and act appropriately, and I'm definitely not macho, that kind of thing makes me feel cheap. It's kind of the way women might feel when they come off as "slutty," it's just a very cheap and useless feeling. But that's just me.
I have a question on this same subject, only gender roles reversed. I asked my taurus point blank, 'My taurean girlfriends tell me taurus like to own those they love, is that true' and he shrugged and said nope. Is that.. because he doesn't see it that way, but it actually IS that way.. or is he just a freak? lol.
*jumping up and down* Ooooo tag me in! LOL Juss messing. All is well, and all manner of things be well. Aries Moon, what can ya do but shrug and smile? 🙂
... that wasn't meant offensively, I truly did quote you. I'm still wondering if my bull is just a weirdo or if I phrased it wrong.. was hoping for vb's opinion. *puppy dog eyes*
Shoot woman, weirdo or not we're not all going to be textbook Taus. I'm sure if you had all of us from the pasture assembled before you you'd see differences. ( Zip it TaurGuy..I'm not THAT short .. )
Okay, now we come to the serious portion of the programming. I like a man who knows himself. Is aware of his internal. Can stride with purpose to achieve what he sets out to do. A dreamer, a lover. Someone with ferocious wit and verbal skill. Someone who makes me laugh, someone I can talk too. There are so many labels put on masculinity. It does not necessarily mean you're off in the forest, whacking an erection against a tree trunk or urinating your name in the snow with backhanded flourish as you quaff beer in vast amounts. To me the most manly is one that can show me that he's vulnerable, can give me that to hold and trust that I will not give back pain or use it as a weapon against him. There again, because he knows himself and recognizes the echo I set off in him. Strength embodies acceptance as well. All of its twists and turns. Not only of self, but another human being in your life. It is lack of fear, or even if you are such that you can tell it to go to hell and accomplish. Good heart, good mind, spine of steel? ( Because yes, we do expect and WANT a man to put us in our place from time to time..even if we have that fire rolling in our eyes. ) Yep, got yourself a Bull. And if you want to strut around in your tighty whities and roar occasionally, do so, it's very funny, and quite endearing.
