the one thing nice about this site?

and you're still going to be anonymous; the only thing that's going to change is that you'll have a username. it's not like everyone will know everything about your life and your innermost secrets.

it's not really a big deal

I kind of understand 152's plight. It was a form of mystery and having a feeling of no holds barred and the peace of mind that NO ONE could figure you out.

It was nice to sometimes make a comment or give your advice without people knowing who you were. Especially if you jumped around the boards a lot and made a mark on each of them as to who you wanted to be. It will be obvious now to know that you wrote what you wrote. You can't hide from that now. But if you have a good aura with people and they enjoy your presence on the board, then it wouldn't be so hard to open up to them because they would appreciate you anyway.

Privacy is a thing with me too, but I understand that you can't receive my info unless I supply it. I'll just give my handle, birthdate, sex, town, etc. it won't be so bad.

You know it has gotten to a point anyway that whether you signed your handle or not, I could sometimes figure out who was the poster anyway.

It won't be so bad 152. Think of a nickname/handle that you would want to be called that's all. 🙂
