Without having the actual aspects between your two charts it's hard to say why you feel such a strong connection. It's possible that your Venus makes a conjunction to his Pluto which could be the cause of unrequited/obsessive love and a strong attraction. His Venus could be opposite your Pluto which could also cause him to be obsessed with you. Also, his Venus might be opposite your Uranus which makes for an unstable relationship that doesn't last too long. But you're going to need to post the aspects so we can be sure.
