Should I just give up this Taurus guy?

Hello everyone. So, typical story about Taurus guys and meeting online. I met him online, we have been exchanging like 20 e-mails everyday, we were making "jokes" about even love, talking about everything, and he said he had a crush on me. Then we met, he brought a lot of presents when he came to visit me, a lot of things symbolizing almost everything we talked about. Until he came, I really didn't feel anything towards him, then the moment we met... I will never forget those eyes and that smile... Everything was wonderful,spent around a week together, then when he went back home (another country). After he left, I wrote him an e-mail and said I really like him a lot. He said, he always had an obsessive crush on me and other nice things. Then he told me he would visit me again or I could visit him because no matter what I chose, he would be there to see me. And really, I was willing to move to his country just for him. THEN at one point, he started writing very short and cold e-mails and only once a day, sometimes once a week. Then he said he may not visit me and I could make my travel plans without him. When I asked why, he said he was busy, and he didn't want a long distance relationship. That is understandable and I wrote him another e-mail to say I love him but won't write him again. This time, he replied talking about his crush again. Finally, I wrote him a very long and truthful letter telling him I loved him and was really considering to change my life for him and again told him not to write back. This time he wrote back saying he became so cold because he wants to keep writing only if he sees a long term future and the only way for this was me moving to his city, but that he really didn't want to take responsibility for anyone's feelings and we would still be friends etc etc.

I know, the story itself tells everything. He is very honest but why does he always leave an open door or does he just try to be nice and not hurt me? Whenever I tell him I don't want to write again, he writes something making sure I will reply! When I get closer, he just pushes me!

I am really ready to change my life for him and I really don't want any commitment from him at this stage or I don't want him to feel responsible for my feelings if I move there and we see it doesn't work at the end. I just want to try whatever is possible to see if it will work. I am fine with regretting what I did but I don't want to regret what I didn't do! But what do you people think?

Really? You haven't spent enough time with him to talk about love. He is an earth sign!! Earth is slow.
Honestly, as a Cap with scorp rising/venus, I would suspect your definition of love and your maturity level. (not meaning to be rude).

It's either
1. You jumped the gun and spoke of your feelings too soon; OR
2. He has met someone else closer to his home that he likes just as well, but is more practical to have a relationship with.
