We're going on our first "date" tomorrow! Well it's a lunch date. We have such a good time on the phone; I'm hoping we click in person as well. I'm so excited and even a little nervous (whoa a Gem nervous?). I'm almost never nervous to meet someone for the first time. Maybe it's because I have a feeling about him? Oh well...wish me luck! :-)

Thanks! I met him on a dating site--we actually work near each other so that's how we're able to go to lunch tomorrow. I love how he tells me that he's "feeling" me and loves my personality even though we haven't met yet. He's initiating everything (unlike Virgo dude). He says I make him laugh and that it feels good... :-)

Oh good to hear you hit it off with a Taurus as well. We seem to have alot in common; definitely have alot of similaries but just enough difference to make it interesting. Last night he told me he loved my voice and personality (again) and he can't wait to get to know me. He and I talked about everything and get this--normally I'm the question asker, he asked quite a bit of questions which generated plenty of interesting conversation. You know Gems love this! We talked and laughed and laugh and he said I make him feel good.

He just called and told me that he's looking forward to lunch but that it looks bad outside and he didn't want me out in the elements if it started to storm. So considerate! I like that! I'm hoping the weather holds out and we get to have lunch. If not he said we can try again tomorrow. I've been on dates with men I've met online before. I just keep it simple; they only know my phone number and I meet them somewhere very public. I'm hoping this one goes well. I do have to say all the posts on here about Taurus disappearing and being difficult has me thinking. But every person is different and I'm still excited. I'll definitely post how it went...

Well we went to lunch and it was quite nice. Bad thing about online dating is people often misrepresent themselves. He's a nice looking guy but he has a few extra pounds that is not really a turn on for me. I tried to look past at that as the conversation was really good and he was such a gentleman. However those extra pounds are a deal breaker (hey there was a thread on deal breakers huh? Should have mentioned that...) Anyhoo, I'm normally straight out with how I feel but I just don't know how to tell him I'm not feeling him. I want to be fair about it and not have him hanging on--he's already told me I'm a fox and he wants to take me on another "date". I will tell him next week as I need to think about what I'm going to say and not be my typical Gem self and be very blunt. *sigh*

Morale of this story is; do as I do and post a new pics at least every 6 mos or so. I just can't get over those extra pounds he has... UGHHH!

Good point; I don't like having an image of that person in my head based on a picture he posted and then he doesn't look a think like that in person. I try to stay fit and I like men who keep their body in shape as well. I make no apologies about that! Thanks for your input!
