Taurus and Gifts

IT's been several months since my Taurus man and I have spoken. We broke it off in September, well that's when he just disappeared! I still love him and I've been trying to get back with him through emails and letters but he wouldn't respond until about a week ago when I asked for his address so I can send his birthday gift. He FINALLY responded and said that he didn't feel right accepting a gift from me because we haven't spoken in so long.
I have read that Taurus folks like gifts and that is a good way of getting them back. Is that true? Has anyone been able to get their Taurus sweetheart back by giving gifts from the heart? And is it a good idea to send his birthday gift?

Just one question to you Shimmer - why do you want to be with someone who clearly does not want to be with you or for you to be part of his life and world anymore? YOu say you still love him but love is a two-way street.....it's not happening Shimmer, if I were you, I'd take a deep breath, treasure your memories but accept the fact that Mr. Taurus is no longer part of your world. The truth hurts but it also sets one free.
