Oh well I am a Scorpio also who was and thinking about dating again a Taurus, My situation might be a little different though since we have a baby together. When we first might he actually call me that same night, and again that next day very persistent and very open when we talk and this is what intially spark my interest. So things were good for about the first week or so after that. then just like your guy he started going like two or three days before he would call or text me, and like you I would text him and he would be like yeah I am so busy and what not this really drove me crazy. We as being Scorpios we like to be in control and to know what's going on and to know how a person feels about us, we have a short attention span and will soon be on to something else. So in my situation I just kept living my life I kept seeing other people I simply just gave him his space and said when he comes around if I want to I will talk to him or see him. Then finally one day he went quite a while without calling or texting me and I was like I am through, my friend and I were at the mall and he was there I seen him but I totally ignored him and I seen him just looking at me like no tomorrow it was so funny, I simply walk pass him like I never knew who he was. That next day he was texting me like I seen you in the mall, then he start calling and I decided to let him have another shot(that is why my baby is here now lol). Taurus however are hard working people and work does come first, even after things were okay between us he was very busy and dedicated to work so you must know this, that work will come first and If he ask for your number there is an attraction there but nothing will come before work. I also had to set up things, like he would call after work when he had free time or we always seen each other on his off day. I would also text him like when are you free I wanna cook for you or whatever, they like to eat or like you to set up the plans, but believe me it does take a lot of patience that you may or may not have.
