Taurus men string you along or do they chase?

Ok last and final scenario and I hope someone from Taurus land answers all three. I may be stretching my 15 minutes of post fame but I am going crazy here.

The Taurus men that string girls along do they do it because they really have no intention of doing it. I honestly think some of them just want a lot of female friends and they just like female company while giving them the opportunity to scope other women out. Or are they prone to the hot and cold string along game just for the sake of loving the chase? And how do you deal with them that do that?

In this instance I am asking for a Leo female and Taurus male he is an April guy.
