Taurus Woman Help Needed

Does a Taurus normally initiate contact when interested or does their lack of initiating contact mean they're not interested? When I initiate contact they do respond and keep the conversation going but I just don't want to feel like I always have to contact them first and bothering them when maybe they just don't want to talk. I also heard from someone close to her that she has a boyfriend but during the months of us talking and getting to know each other she never once mentioned a boyfriend. I'm wondering why she wouldn't have told me she was not available when she clearly knows I'm interested. We are always flirting and constantly staring at each other and have a good time in each others presence. I'm kind of wondering if maybe I should just back off.

TAURUS GIRL seems to be pissed at a SCORPIO GUY, HELP!
Akin to this conversation, I am a Scorpio and really like this Taurus girl who is at least 10 years younger than me. I am married and in the middle of a divorce negotiation.She knows it. She has had many bf's but never married. I look 5 years younger than her or at least her age. We met once at a conference, we really got along well and she came to spend a day with me on a 4 hour ride away from her home. We had a great time doing silly and fun stuff all over the city mostly catered to her liking. The day ended with me putting her back on her ride home and a short lip to lip kiss, happened naturally. She texed, "you took me off guard, did you see my face turned red, lol..". I texed, it happened and I will cherish and remember the moment forever. She never directly responds to statements of affection like that but continues the conversation in long gaps and just slight(my assumption) interest and affection. Next day she spoke to me for a long time, just silly fun stuff and texted me to send my address so she could send me something, when asked what she said a Thank you note.
NOW THE MOMENT OF TRUTH; Last night we sent pictures to each other of what we were cooking and laughed over it. Then she said she had a friend over who she had cooked for, they were hanging out and she can't talk on the phone. Being a true passionate Scorpio, I got suspicious but didn't think it was right to ask if it was a boy or a girl. I also got impatient and texted and called couple times, once she picked and I asked if she was still hanging out, she said yes, I said sorry and asked her to call when done. She texted late saying she had to clean up and then will hit the sack. I texted a sad face. No reply. So I felt I should just end this and walk away, so I texted, That's alright, I get it, GOOD BYE. She replied with Huh? I am confused. I thought over it and tried to calm the situation by writing, I meant, I get it that you are pissed about something, most likely my being a pest. Sorry again. I send her G.Morn, messages with a joke everyday and she reponds with a Morning, nothing today, yet. HAVE I LOST HER?
