airfive - if its not too personal to share, what is your family background? Any history of verbal/physical abuse or abandonment/neglect in childhood or at any time? It just seems like there are some issues with you having low self-worth. Situation like that? You should be so far above having anything to do with such childishness, you should just be able to laugh at it and have no desire to establish yourself within that pecking order.

I would say look fir another job secretly that pays more money and provides benefits. I wouldnt even put in. 2 weeks notice. Go on vacationfor a week and then come in and hand in your letter of rresignation and walk out.
