Workaholics Anoymous, anyone?

Do Taurus males get sooo immersed in work that they forget everything else around them? The Taurus male am kinda seeing works in another state but flies back to me over the weekends. We spend the weekends chatting endlessly, cooking for each other and at the end of the day snuggling in bed either talking into the morning or sleeping peacefully. Needless to say, he doesn't want to go all the way in the intimacy dept lest he screws things up with me considering he's had very weird past relationships. Says he loves me but wouldn't mess what he has with me by going all the way. As per him that's how all his relationships get screwed. So here I have a man who??s all attentive over the weekends and then when gets to work, nothing! My mom got hospitalized a few days ago and he didn't even check in on me how I was doing. I know he's going through a rough patch at work. But not call to check in? Is that normal—

He's back again this weekend and am kinda fuming at his lack of interest in what's happening at my end. Any idea on what I need to do? Let it go and give him his space to unwind or talk to him about it? Issue being, while we??re together, we??re not really couple where I can demand he show some concern like a boyfriend. Sigh??_.

Well, we've been sharing the same roof for a li'l over 2 months. Known each other for 6. As for his lack of response to anything at my end when he's at work...? Like forever!

Even weirder... all without ANY REAL ACTION WHATSOEVER ? This does not seem like a REAL relationship to me... sounds to be just a roommate thing. I think you are going to have to shake this up a bit... you should plan on going out with friends this weekend... intead of waiting for him to put out. You seem to be giving HIM what HE needs... how is HE giving YOU what YOU NEED ? He is wrong, by the way... it is NOT having sex that is going to screw this up !!! Sorry... I don't find asexuals very exciting... absolute deal-breaker for me.

Yeah, found this real weird too. Mebbe will do what you suggest and shake things up a bit. 🙂
