The Classic Aries-Libra or Aries-Virgo friendship..

Gossip Girl.

I rented season one, and as I curled up on my couch to watch, it suddenly dawned on me Blair is so Aries!
So, even Leighton Meester is an Aries. Blake Lively is Virgo.

Haven't watched 'em all, going for a marathon disc run 🙂

So,
they actually cast characters correctly! Bet the directors know nuts about astrology, but their feel, is right.

Seriously, Blake has great style , so mellow etc. Gotta change my opinion on virgo girls now 😛

So, when I watched it, it was like flashbacks. The aries-virgo friendship is like a bully plus victim friendship.. Serena doesn't even know Blair's so jealous and hates her to bits.

Virgo's sorta like Libra in a small sense.. 'cept virgo-aries friendships are mucho worse.

So there, a great version of aries-virgo friendship in action.

Or Aries and other mellow signs in action 🙂

all the libra and virgo friends i have are really smart, intelligent ladies and they would never play the victim to anyone

thats a hidden insult. using "smart and intelligent", which is a blanket statement to make your point is baseless, and basically, what an Aries would say to someone unsuspecting.

They were the "victim" only because they didn't know they were being attacked. Who ever wants to play the victim?

Don't get me wrong, I love Blair, and especially her clothes, that cupid bow lips and pretty face. It's just that I feel, and I KNOW it's really not acting. The "actors are being themselves onscreen. What can be better than that?
By the way, Ms Messter is a more than triple dose of Aries.

..And... the hidden insult or manipulation thing in a very very innocent statement (as yours above) she does to Jenny *who is a wannabe innocent Leo by the way*, is really what I have heard Aries females do with finesse.

By the way, I love her in the show. If they cast other astro-stereotypes, methinks it would hardly be as interesting.

First off, who's upset? I find it redundant that you keep putting one whole sign down. You stereo-type and generalize us all to be twits who only care about themselves, when you are completely wrong...at least about myself. I debated on replying in the first place as I've never even seen this show, but I couldn't resist. There is nothing to admit. I am not that way and neither are the other Aries I know. I think it's dependant on your whole chart and not just your sun sign, no?

Who says? You? The Libra expert on ALL Aries? I've regreted many things I've done in my past. I really do try and learn from my past mistakes and never repeat them.
I'm all about the golden rule. That's exactly the opposite of how you view Aries. But, that's truly me. I cannot speak for anyone else, but this is what I've experienced with other Aries I know as well.

So do you get super offended when I say Blair's an Aries and she's acting like an Aries? I mentioned that alot of Aries girls I know (very close friends) exhibit Blair-esque behavior, is that so wrong to point it out? So, if you're that 15% exception, then congratulations. You have transcended the aries type limitations.

So if both of you keep defending yourselves profusely, even with "offending" insults, it just really goes to show
1. you're in denial
2. you're like this, but covring it up with insults because there's nothing much else in your vocab
3. you're sticking up for Aries wrongdoings because it's instinctual.

Its so excrutiating watching the show, with flashbacks of Aries' girl's transgressions, don't you girls have empathy for others' experiences with errant, notorious behaviors of some of your Aries female counterparts? Looks like you really don't.. and that's one other bad rap of Aries. Band together, why don't you.. just beware of other knifey Aries in your midst, what what have you to lose? You know all their tricks. I think others deserve to as well.



What puzzles me is, why none of you give REASONS why some aries behave this way? all you give are insults. To facilitate understanding, an explanation would be more effective. Instead of pouts.

It's insulting when you defend ALL other Aries in the pretext of defending yourself; it doesn't and won't negate my bad experiences with Aries women. It's also insulting when you're here making it all about YOU again when I wasn't singling you out specifically. Can't you see beyond your own confines?

you understand that aries are warriors. So what wrong with stating that fact? alot, i say alot because I am not that old myself - of aries women are unethical and demanding in their immature desire to get what they want. Were they brought up properly? or is that an innate characteristic? I'd say it's both, but its an inner characteristic that needs to be tamed. So now, you don't display that, but alot do - perhaps you even did when you're younger. So, it's natural, right? I'd tell you that I like a reason to forgive that Aries frenemy of yesteryear, and just like some arian explanation, instead of defence of themselves. Not what I'm looking for.

Well, she has venus in aquarius, and 2 grand trines (lazy bum), with a sun in the 5th (attention whore), mars in libra yada yada. I agree its in her chart, bt her sun is the main one. So stop defending your species when they do bad things. A thinking reader will know that it doesnt apply to all -- that is very idealistic thinking.

Apparently producers of the show do know astrology, as does Ms Meester. As she said herself, she can laugh, cry, act childish etc with finesse.......


And by the way, the show does not prove my point. Instead, it illustrates it to an amazing amazing proportion. So amazing that I always go "Bingo" at Blair's tactics. It really really reminds me of my ex friend, soo soo well.

Feels like the directors or the book author actually had the same experiences. Apparently, as well, there are only 12 types of women/men etc. Those grown women who act like kids are the ones to least underestimate!!!!!!!!!!!!
