Hehe. I should've said this earlier. But real men don't use guns. They use swords or their fists. Because on the scale of honorability.

Hand-to-hand > Swords > Knives > Guns > Explosives > Nukes > Bio-weapons

Weapons throughout the ages....

It takes skill with sword fighting and hand to hand combat. With Guns all it takes is the trigger, which by some means requires some skill but still someone could get lucky.

Really? Because Carlos Hathcock, Audie Murphy, Alvin York, Chesty Puller, the Battered Bastards of Bastogne, Teddy Roosevelt, Leander McNelly, a whole bunch of Texas Rangers from the mid-late 1800s, every United States Marine who ever lived, and countless other guys who very skillfully used their guns to make it so you would have the freedom to say something that ill advised probably thought very differently.

For one thing, if you think all it takes with a firearm is just to pull a trigger, that tells me right off the bat you have absolutely no idea what your talking about. Go learn how to shoot properly (because it's painfully obvious you don't know how even if you think you do) and get back to me.

Chill man. I know how to use guns properly. Shouldn't judge right off the bat but I honestly believe swords are a more honorable method of fighting. It takes a lot of courage and bravery to look your opponent in the eye and now the intent of what you're going to do. In reality there's no honor in killing but there are more honorable methods to defending yourself. But when it comes to defending yourself and your family then you use whatever's available. I know it takes a lot of skill and patience to become a good shooter or marksman (So no disrespect to those who do use guns because even I use them). But the point I was trying to make was guns kill easier than blades and some people tend to not look where they're aiming, they shoot, target down and they just got lucky. And that's not to say that a gun requires less skill to use than a sword because it requires just as much. But for future fights and for the sake of my honorability I'll fight with a sword if it comes down to it. No disrespect was intended

Well i guess what sniper meant was that real men use gun to protect (as a last resort) and not to harm others, and in this case if the situation can be solved by using fists it would definitely be more manly seeing your enemy die a slow painful death than simply pulling the trigger. Think-ancient man hunt with their bare hands.

I may not be in the marines but i was in the army for a couple of years, its doesnt take that much of a skill to hit a target with the aid of a scope, proper breathing, posturing, and trigger discipline same with a pistol without a scope but an iron sight. I would definitely think achieving a 10 dan taekwondo/judo blackbelt much more manlier than "fighting" with guns. Speaking of which, i think real men mostly win by talking not by fists or guns.

Said it better than anyone here man. It's better to talk your problems out then resort to violence.

Used to play GTA 4 online a lot and I was used to Sniping other characters from the rooftops, became a habit. That and a few years ago the longest shot I made with a Remington 710 was at 870 meters, popped a deer right in the left eye. A lot of distance to cover between me and that deer but I felt proud of my achievement and used those two accomplishments in my use

It takes BALLS to pop your head out of the trenches to fire a round. Guns in real life are not as accurate as they are in video games.

It takes Skills, Hard work and discipline to pilot a fighter jet.

It takes Brains to build these weapons, I personally see the blacksmith as just as manly as the man fighting. same with the bomb smith.

Have you seen Hurt Locker?

Yes I've seen Hurt Locker. Loved that movie and those explosions. A feel it's a very detailed account of an EOD specialist in Iraq in 2004. But did you not read what I posted afterwards? Both take a certain amount of skill and in a dash I'd choose a gun but since I like up close and personal I'd take a sword. Both are good because they serve what needs to be done. Guns for when you want a quick and clean kill without having to get up close and personal and swords for when you want to get close and personal and intend to make it dirty. So I don't rip on guns because I own a few, so chill.

Foxy is manly. Hmm. I like that.

Very easy to make a fist and punch someone. Takes lots of courage to deep breathe and turn the other cheek.

I disagree. Too many people are all talk nowadays where I come from.

Would you choose the punch over the walking away tiz?

Sometimes words aren't enough to get the point across. And sometimes a little action is needed because some people take the kindness as a weakness they'll wreck your shit.
