I started having an uneasonable appreciation for "comfy" TV shows. I mean those TV shows that old people like to watch:
-midsomer murders, columbo, murder she wrote, that german show with matula, etc...
I can rewatch old columbo episodes forever and I still find them interesting.

I think it's all the comfy settings and furniture in these shows.

what else, it couldn't have just been you like different TV shows. how about your way of thinking or perspective on life now compared to 10 years ago?
It happened brutally exactly at the same time I got married. I suddenly noticed I was watching bourgeois TV with my wife and I liked it. Things I never did before

I started develloping a purely aesthetic appreciaiton for pretty girls.
Sometimes I'm fascinated by a girl with a pretty face but I have absolutely no sexual or romantic attraction for her. But I could spend the day watching girls ith pretty faces and pretty clothes.
I suspect this was due to a drop in testosterone levels tho
I don't know if it's concerning or not that this described the majority of my 20s.

Don't worry, it just means you had premature clooney years. Nothing to worry about.

the 30s were the most difficult decade in my life both financially and personally. Everybody expects things from you and noone makes anything easy for you. I even started losing a bit of hair on the back of the head due to stress.
But as I got into my 40s everything became magically easier and as I divorced life becam very comfortable. All my hair regrew and I look younger now than in my 30s.

LOL at the TV show thing...I was just talking about that with the SO the other day as we were watching TV. Can't remember what we were watching (that's another thing), but we were talking about old shows we enjoyed watching with our parents when we were kids. I mentioned that we were turning into old folks and would probably be sitting around watching Murder, She Wrote in the near future, lol. 50 is just around the corner for us. My Lord...
